NEW YORK (AP) — George Clooney led a parade of old favorites back to "ER" on Thursday as the medical drama nears the end of its 15-year run.

Spike Lee and Tyler Perry are among the directors nominated at the upcoming NAACP Image Awards. The civil rights organization announced the nominations in three directing categories on Tuesday, with Lee and Tyler leading the pack.

George Clooney is all set for a return to ER, according to former castmate Noah Wyle. Clooney has made it clear in recent months he will not reprise his Dr. Doug Ross character for the medical drama's finale,

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit starts off the new year with all original episodes, boasting a star studded January filled with guest star appearances by Brian Dennehy, Paget Brewster, Michael Michele, Blair Underwood, Kal Penn and Adam Beach; as well as an "SVU" directorial debut for actor Eriq LaSalle, reuniting him with some of his former ER cast mates.

Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has slammed reports she is replacing the show's star Isaiah Washington with ER stalwart Eriq La Salle. Washington hit the headlines earlier this month when he was involved in an on-set argument with his co-star Patrick Dempsey.

Karate Kid bully Billy Zabka has topped a poll of 'movie dicks' in a new GQ magazine survey. The champion wrestler played blond Johnny Lawrence in the cult 1984 martial arts movie, and has beaten out Wedding Crashers' jock Zachary Lodge and National Lampoon's Animal House character Greg Marmalade to top the GQ poll.
