One of my New Years resolutions was to read at least a book a month. January's book was Alec Ross' 'Industries of the Future'. It's an awesome look of the trends toward what the next generation of innovation and growth will be. He shares global economic understanding and compassion for the plight of the working class. He shows powerful domain expertise in multiple areas and gives the reader information in a way that isn't over their head but but doesn't make them feel stupid. This feel like a handbook for college freshman trying to figure out what to do with their lives, entrepreneurs trying to figure out what to build, and people who like to have the ability to see around the corners of life. While I read my mind was whirling with interest and inspiration. This is the first book on my #AKmustread lost for everyone for 2016. Enjoy.
