| I think Samuel L. Jackson is an icon in the film industry. He is the 2nd greatest dramatic actor of all-time. I love Samuel L. Jackson. Samuel Leroy Jackson was born on December 21, 1947 in Wahington, DC. He graduated from Morehouse College in 1970. He made his film debut with a cameo appearance in the film, Ragtime in 1981. Also in 1981, he became friends with then up and coming film director Spike Lee. In 1987, he made a cameo appearance in the opening ceromonies of Eddie Murphy's stand-up special, Raw. In 1988, he appeared in Spike Lee's film, School Daze and in Eddie Murphy's film, Coming To America. In 1989, he played in Spike Lee's film, Do The Right Thing as DJ Mister Senor Love Daddy who was both the narrator and a character in the film. In 1990, he appeared in Mo' Better Blues, which was also directed by Spike Lee. In 1991, he appeared in the comedy film, Strictly Business. Also in 1991, he worked for Spike Lee one last time in the film, Jungle Fever as a comical drug addict. His role in Jungle Fever was so acclaimed that the 1991 Cannes Film Festival named him Best Supporting Actor in a Drama. In 1992, Jackson appeared in Juice. In 1993, He had his first starring role alongside Emilio Estevez in the action-comedy, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon One. Also in 1993, he appeared in Menace II Society and Jurassic Park. In 1994, he starred in the film, Pulp Fiction and won an award for Best Actor in a Drama. | ||
