What’s great about Lex is that he exists beyond the confines of the stereotypical nefarious villain. He’s a complicated and sophisticated character whose intellect, wealth and prominence posi...

Fashion Fails: Katy Perry's Flea Market Find, Alan Cumming's Kilt, Men Without Ties

4/27/2013 6:07pm EDT
Katie Perry
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Hopefully, Katy Perry found this "gem" of a dress at a flea market, because it's at least two decades out of date. Either that, or Perry has signed on to represent a new line of screen-less phones and... Spearmint gum?

I have no problems with kilts, even if Alan Cumming's has a very odd, almost computer-like pattern. But we will never, I repeat, NEVER condone dress shirts with the arms cut off.

I can't believe Matthew McCo...

4/5/2013 8:28am EDT
Jeremy Irons
British actor Jeremy Irons has sparked outrage by suggesting gay marriage in Britain could lead to fathers marrying their sons in a bid to avoid inheritance tax.

The Kingdom of Heaven star made the strange comments in an interview with the Huffington Post in which he claimed a law allowing same-sex couples to officially marry could create a loophole to bypass the U.K.'s heavy death duties.

He told the publication, "Could a father not marry his son?... It's not incest between men (because) incest (law) is there to protect us from inbreeding, but men don't breed..." adding, 'I don't have ...

2/13/2013 8:29am EST
Jeremy Irons
Jeremy Irons was victimized by "older men" who attempted to grope him when he was young, but he stood his ground and told them to "get lost".

The Reversal of Fortune star made the revelation in a candid interview with Britain's The Times newspaper, after he was asked about previous comments he had made concerning women who deal with sexual harassment.

In 2011, Irons reportedly told Radio Times, "If a man puts his hand on a woman's bottom, any woman worth her salt can deal with it."

Irons now insists he was misquoted and he was actually trying to suggest women shouldn't put up with suc...

The Words

As Clay continues to read out loud, the story comes to life and we meet the characters from his book, starting ...

4/5/2011 8:01am EDT
Jeremy Irons
Veteran British actor Jeremy Irons has come under fire after he called for smokers' rights to be protected like those of "handicapped people and children."

The Die Hard with a Vengeance star took aim at New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg after the politician banned smoking in city-owned open spaces.

Irons tells, "(I) turned vigorously against the mayor because of the new law (banning) smoking in parks or on the beach, which I think is ludicrous and a terrible bullying of a minority that cannot speak back."

He added that smokers deserve to be protected like "handicapped pe...

Jeremy Irons Gets Political And Religious On Showtime's 'The Borgias'

3/29/2011 11:15am EDT
Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia
Showtime’s newest series The Borgias is the scandalous drama of the papal family of the 15th century. Jeremy Irons plays Rodrigo Borgia, who becomes Pope Alexander VI. Researching his character was as challenging as finding unbiased journalism today.

“If you read the newspapers over the last 10 years to try to discover what sort of man George Bush is, you read a whole load of different things,” Irons said. “Whether it's FOX or whether it's the New Statesman or whoever it is writing, it's different opinions. It's the same for my character, Rodrigo Borgia. What sort of guy was he? You hav...
