Hollywood Stars Who Were Total One-Hit Wonders
"One-hit wonder" tends to be a term for musicians only. Someone puts out a hit record. For a few brief moments, they bask in that sweet hit-record glow. Then they fade into obscurity forever (hopefully obscurity still comes with its share of royalty fees).

It's time we spread the "one-hit wonder" label around a little. You don't have be (briefly) musically inclined to be a one-hit wonder. One-hit wonders are just as common in Hollywood- actors, directors and such.

James Franco And Anne Hathaway To Co-Host Oscars

James Franco and Anne Hathaway have been selected to co-host the 83rd Academy Awards telecast on February 27, 2011. It is the second year in a row that more than one host has been selected, with Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin performing the duties last February.

The most interesting twist is that both hosts are in consideration for awards. Franco is considered a favorite to win Best Actor for his performance in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, whereas Hathaway has a long-shot chance at Best Actress for Love and Other Drugs.

Paul Hogan Given Permission To Leave Australia

Paul Hogan has worked out a deal with Australian tax authorities allowing him to return to his home in Los Angeles.

The Crocodile Dundee star had been barred from leaving the country over an unpaid multi-million dollar tax bill. He was served with an Australian Taxation Office order last month after jetting back to Sydney to attend his mother's funeral. He was accused of using offshore bank accounts to conceal his earnings and was said to owe $32.1 million.

The 70 year old's attorney reveals Hogan has since reached an agreement with officials during a "cordial and co-operative" meeting....

Paul Hogan Prevented From Leaving Australia Over Tax Dispute

Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan has been banned from leaving his native Australia until he settles his long running tax dispute.

The actor, who lives in Los Angeles, flew into Sydney on Friday for the funeral of his 101-year-old mother and was served with a departure prohibition order. The papers, which prevent Hogan from leaving his homeland, stem from an ongoing investigation by officials at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), who have been chasing Hogan for millions of dollars in allegedly unpaid taxes for several years.
