Saving the world is a hard day’s work, so the cast of The Avengers made sure to relax while they were filming the epic comic book superhero team up. The film unites Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) to fight Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his alien army.

The closing weekend of the 11th annual Tribeca Film Festival went out with an epic bang worthy of superheroes. Monster director Patty Jenkins has emerged as the odd favorite to pick up the THOR movie franchise from Kenneth Branagh.

Jenkins, who also directed episodes of TV shows Entourage and Arrested Development, is leading the race to take charge of Thor 2 when it starts shooting next spring.
