Steve Harvey Cleared Of Child Abuse Charges

Comedian Steve Harvey was accused of hitting his 11-year-old son but has been cleared of child abuse charges.

After the boy’s body appeared to be covered in bruises and cuts, the star's ex-wife, Mary Harvey, and their son claimed the actor had beaten him for lying about schoolwork.

Police referred the case to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, who determined that the child was at no risk. The case against Harvey was subsequently closed.

Beloved funnyman Steve Harvey is retiring from stand-up comedy after 27 years.

Harvey first hit the live circuit in 1985 and became one of the Kings of Comedy, touring alongside fellow comedians Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley and the late Bernie Mac, but Harvey is now preparing to hang up the microphone for good, according to Eurweb.com.

The star, who also enjoys work as a TV and radio personality and an author, will hit the stage for the last time during the 10th annual Ford Hoodie Awards, which takes place over four days in Las Vegas from August 2.

Romantic comedy Think Like a Man has finally knocked The Hunger Games from the top of the box office chart after a four-week reign.

Think Like A Man - based on comedian Steve Harvey's book and starring Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Comedian Steve Harvey has won a court injunction against his ex-wife after she appeared in a series of online videos and openly attacked the funnyman for allegedly cheating on her throughout their marriage.
