Actor Neil Patrick Harris is returning as host of the Tony Awards for a fourth time.

The How I Met Your Mother star won huge acclaim for his presenting duties at the 2009, 2011, and 2012 ceremonies and now bosses have asked him back again.

A statement from the star reads, "I'm very excited to be back hosting the Tony Awards at the legendary Radio City Music Hall. It'll be more impressive than ever... rest assured, the show will rock!"

He will serve as host at the event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on 9 June (13). He will also act as a producer of the televised ceremony.

Actor Neil Patrick Harris is moving his family from Los Angeles to New York full-time once he finishes filming the final season of "How I Met Your Mother."

Currently NPH lives in California with his partner, David Burtka, and their two-year-old twins, but they are planning to sell up and move to the East Coast as soon as Harris' hit TV comedy comes to an end next year.

Harris admits he wants to live in a state which recognizes gay marriage and hopes to make the move soon so his children can be enrolled in school in the Big Apple.

After a short break How I Met Your Mother returned last night with an all new episode written by the show’s co-creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. The last episode left us with Ted (Josh Radnor) in a transition. Robin (Cobie Smulders) told him that she didn’t love him, and as a result she moved out of the apartment above MacLaren’s. Ted, sensing that he needed a change too, gave the apartment back to Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and began looking for a new place.

I once had dreams of becoming an Emmy-Winning actress, but thanks to a traumatizing audition for a middle school drama club and being roughly a few inches shy of Snooki-esque shortness, those dreams never panned out. Things got a little more crowded on Monday nights as the second season of The Voice moved into its new timeslot across the dial on NBC.
