Cancer survivor Hill Harper is having to watch what he eats and exercise religiously after his thyroid was removed in surgery.

The author and actor has been given the all-clear after undergoing surgery to remove his cancerous thyroid - but now he faces a constant battle to stay in shape.

He explains, "They (doctors) say that the cancer was pretty much localized in the thyroid, so when they took out my thyroid, I'm good. The only problem is I don't have any more metabolism because my thyroid's gone, so if I blow up like the girl in Willy Wonka, it wouldn't be too good.

A good movie either needs the big screen, the big budget, or big stars to be worthy of an audience as large as Tyler Perry's. “For Colored Girls” would make a wonderful first season of a cable (or TBS) drama.

Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls" is one of those movies that follows interconnecting stories of people going through struggles. The domestically abused, the sexually assaulted, accidentally impregnated, the barren, and hopelessly devoted. Think “Valentines Day” with rape.

The stars came out to support the Much Love Animal Rescue group for a fundraiser in Hollywood on Saturday. See who turned up for their furry friends!

Much Love Animal Rescue is a profit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. Since 2000, the group has successfully placed over 2,000 animals in loving homes.

Who didn't show up? Paris Hilton, who is famous for her chihuahua Tinkerbell or George Clooney, who had a pot bellied pig named Max for a pet.
