Jon Hamm Talks 'Million Dollar Arm' And Relates To Unconventiona
Jon Hamm is very noticeably not married to his girlfriend of 16 years, Jennifer Westfeldt. They like it this way, though they always have to explain to reporters that this is intentional, that neither of them are pushing for a proposal. Hamm stars in the new movie Million Dollar Arm which is also about an unconventional family.

J.B. Bernstein (Hamm) is a sports agent who went to India to recruit pitchers. The two Indian boys he brought home became his family and actually led him to get close to the woman who would become his wife.

“I’m in a modern family myself,” Hamm said. “Everyone’s ...

Jon Hamm Regrets Early Job In Softcore Porn

Jon Hamm
Mad Men star Jon Hamm started his career out working as a set-dresser for softcore porn films.

The 43-year-old actor shared is past in the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine, saying that work he did on the sets of Cinemax's flesh flicks was "soul-crushing."

A video of Hamm on 90s dating show "The Big Date" (hosted by the other Mark Wahlberg), was unearthed earlier this month, and the actor explained to the magazine what was going on in his life at the time.

"I was actually at that time working as a set dresser for Cinemax soft-core-porn movies," he said. "It was soul-crushing."

Do These Hollywood Actors Look Better Or Worse With Facial Hair?

May 7th, 2014 3:00pm EDT
Ben Affleck
Facial hair can make a man look sophisticated or like a slob. Charming or a creep. Dozens of A-list actors in Hollywood have tried a beard on for size, so tell us – do these guys look better or worse with their facial hair?

For Argo, Ben Affleck made like a hockey player and kept a beard for "the playoffs," AKA awards season. He shaved it off at an Oscars after-party when his film won Best Picture.

George Clooney, like Ben Affleck, grew a "producer beard" while Argo was striving for awards. He also rocked just a moustache for a bit, but for the last year or so he's been clean-shaven.

Jon Hamm
Jon Hamm is lashing out at another celebrity in an interview, and this time it's Justin Bieber.

Hamm is on the cover of Men's Fitness to promote the final season of Mad Men, and he has some choice words for the Canadian pop star.

While talking about young Hollywood, the actor says, "Look at Bieber or whoever. You're like, 'What the f--k, man? What are you doing? Why?' There’s no one telling those people no, and it’s a shame."

He continues later, explaining young stars need "a mom or a dad or a really good friend who can say, 'Hey, sh—head!'"

His rant continued as he shared his disgust f...

Video Of Jon Hamm From A 90s Dating Show Goes Viral
Jon Hamm, who we know and love as ad man Don Draper from "Mad Men," is making headlines for an appearance he made nearly 20 years ago as a contestant on a dating show.

The Daily Mail found the hilarious clip, which reveals a 25-year-old Hamm with long hair as he vies to win a date with a brown haired beauty.

When the host asks Hamm how he would treat a woman on a date he says: "I start off with some fabulous food, (a) little fabulous conversation –

"What else fabulous, Jon?" the snarky host interupts.

"With a fabulous foot massage, for an evening of total fabulosity," Hamm added.

Are Jon Hamm's Private Parts A Problem For 'Mad Men's' Wardrobe Department?

Jon Hamm in Mad Men
Apparently Jon Hamm has a problem most men would like. His private parts are so prominent, the people behind "Mad Men" have asked him to put on underwear while filming.

An AMC insider told the New York Daily News: "This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination. Jon's impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear."

The source added that Hamm's "privates are the inside joke" on the show, and he "knows what he's got." Well now apparently the whole world knows too!

In the past, the marketing team has a...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'The Other Woman,' Joan's Sacrifice And Peggy's Bombshell

May 28th, 2012 6:03pm EDT
Mad Men
Who do you think is the identity of ‘The Other Woman’? Is it Joan, who offers herself to another man for enough money to change her life? Is it Peggy, who is in some way Don’s emotional mistress? Is it Pete’s love affair with Manhattan? Or is it Jaguar, that thing of beauty that can at last be truly owned?

Joan and Jaguar’s stories are intertwined. Don and his staff (excluding Peggy, who is in charge of all other accounts) are struggling to come up with a memorable and sellable tagline. It’s decided that the luxury car should be viewed as a mistress of sorts, but should never be mentioned ...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Christmas Waltz,' Flirting And Back Taxes

May 21st, 2012 7:18pm EDT
'Mad Men'
Is it just me, or is ‘Christmas Waltz’ one of the weakest ‘Mad Men’ episodes all season? It’s not because of the characters featured (Harry, Joan and Lane, primarily). I think it’s because one gets the sense that this episode is moving the show along toward the season finale, but as a dramatic arc in itself, it falls flat.

Let’s look back at what happens. Lane is informed by his attorney in England that he owes a crapload of back taxes. Lane panics and resorts to desperate measures. He gets SCDP’s bank manager to extend $50,000 in credit, then tells the execs that a $50,000 surplus should ...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Dark Shadows' And Desperation All Around

January Jones
In ‘Dark Shadows,’ Betty grows jealous and irritable while trying to watch her weight, Pete fantasizes about a virtual stranger amid his failures, and Don does something almost as underhanded as Betty. You know the end of the season is approaching when characters get evermore desperate.

Let’s start with Betty. She’s faithfully attending Weight Watchers meetings and seems slimmer since the last time we saw her. It’s clearly a strain on her: She catches herself spraying whipped cream into her mouth straight out of the fridge and results to telling Sally one of Don’s secrets out of jealousy ...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Lady Lazarus' And Office Angst

Mad Men
There’s a lot of angst at the heart of ‘Lady Lazarus.’ Megan can’t stand advertising and yearns to return to acting; Pete is apparently unhappy in his marriage and seeks another lover; and Peggy grows upset about Megan’s departure and the way she thinks Don takes it out on her.

Let’s back up. Megan is downright secretive throughout the first half of the episode. She’s clearly hiding something from everyone, but just what is unclear until Peggy catches her in a lie. Megan tells Don that she’s working late, but then tells Peggy that Don wants her home for dinner. A flustered Peggy avoids mul...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'At The Codfish Ball' And Sally's Quick Adulthood

Kiernan Shipka
Sally Draper is perhaps the most mature person in many of her scenes in ‘Mad Men,’ even though she’s just a kid. There’s a lot going on behind those eyes, never more so than in ‘At the Codfish Ball.’ Sally is thrown into extremely adult situations, yet she remains composed. She appropriately calls everything she’s experienced in the city “dirty.”

The reason she’s involved in much of the episode is because Henry’s mother breaks her ankle after tripping over a cord, and Sally performs well under pressure. Betty and her husband are not mentioned, so they’re God-knows-where. Sally and her sibl...
