George Hamilton's actor son has his longtime pal Robert Downey, Jr. to thank for helping him bag a role in Iron Man 3.

Ashley Hamilton struggled to get his Hollywood career back on track after overcoming his drug and alcohol addiction problems, and admits Downey, Jr.'s vote of confidence gave him the boost he needed.

Channing Tatum In Talks To Play Evel Knievel

Channing Tatum is revving up for a new role as daredevil stuntman Evel Knievel.

The Magic Mike star is in talks to play the legendary motorcyclist in a new motion picture based on Stuart Barker's 2008 book Life of Evel, and he has also been lined up to produce the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Knievel, who died in 2007 aged 69, was known for his daring bike jumps and for breaking 433 bones during his career.

The stuntman was previously played on the big screen by George Hamilton in 1971 film Evel Knievel, while Knievel played himself in 1977 movie Viva Knievel.

Hollywood veteran George Hamilton is playing down reports suggesting he's secretly battling cancer, insisting he is just suffering "a little skin damage."

The National Enquirer claims the famously-tanned actor, 72, was recently diagnosed with the disease and allegedly underwent surgery in New York last month to remove cancerous cells on his ear and forehead.

However, Hamilton is said to have encountered further health troubles as he recovered from the operation and was taken by ambulance to the Big Apple's Lenox Hill Hospital on July 30th to treat a popped suture.

Movie veteran George Hamilton is preparing for a reality TV comeback - the famously-tanned actor is developing a "docusoap" about leaving his bachelor life behind to take care of his 10-year-old son.

Hamilton walked off U.K. reality TV series "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" last year, five days before the show's finale, and he failed to impress on "Dancing with the Stars."

But he's hoping to have more success with a new show which chronicles the 70-year-old playboy's parenting skills.

Movie veteran George Hamilton is calming fears over stem-cell injections he receives to keep his tanned skin youthful - insisting human embryos are not involved in the controversial procedure.

The 70-year-old star is famous for his year-round bronzed complexion and admits he regularly gets the injections to avoid a shriveled look.

However, Hamilton insists his ethics should not be questioned - because doctors merely plump his face with his own fat cells.

George Hamilton is set to vamp it up again for laughs as the producer of a new comedy horror sequel of his hit film Love At First Bite.

It has been 20 years since the movie star played Count Vladimir Dracula in the cult 1979 movie and now he's back for more blood with a camp sequel called "Batrimony: Love At Second Bite".
