Sharon Stone Is Looking Good At 52 In A Slinky, Shimmering Dress

August 29th, 2010 9:10am EDT
Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone was all smiles after leaving a Los Angeles salon with new hair extensions on Tuesday. The actress wore a shimmery blue-gray dress and leather sandals and carried a large red handbag.

Movie executives are reportedly making plans for a new "Police Academy" film and have asked Stone, Kim Cattrall and Steve Guttenberg to reprise their roles. However, Bobcat Goldthwait, who shot to fame playing zany Zed in the comedy, wants to see fresh actors suiting up to enroll in the film.

Another popular Sharon Stone film is also being remade: "Total Recall." Columbia Pictures secured the r...

August 9th, 2010 7:53am EDT
Bob Goldthwait
Bobcat Goldthwait is urging Hollywood executives to give up on plans to reunite the Police Academy cast for a new film, insisting the franchise should be rebooted with new stars.

Movie bosses are bringing back lead actor Steve Guttenberg to reprise his role for another installment and his co-stars Kim Cattrall and Sharon Stone have also been asked to return.

However Goldthwait, who shot to fame playing zany Zed in the comedy, wants to see fresh actors suiting up to enroll in the new Police Academy. He tells U.K. talk show host Alan Carr, "I think they should just reboot the series. I do...

Tom Selleck
Tom Selleck is set to re-team with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg for the highly-anticipated second sequel to the trio's hit comedy Three Men And A Baby.

Selleck, who played Peter Mitchell in the original 1987 movie and its 1990 sequel Three Men and a Little Lady, has confirmed a third film is in the works. The original film followed three committed bachelors who are charged with looking after a baby girl one of them has fathered. And the latest installment may see one of the actors giving away their daughter at her wedding - but Selleck reveals he has not read the script yet. He can onl...

'Bachelorette' Recap: A Nice Butt In Spandex, A Girlfriend Back Home & More

June 10th, 2009 9:19am EDT
The Bachelorette
Thirteen men remain for Jillian to choose from on "The Bachelorette," and all 13 packed their bags to fly out to Vancouver to see how Jillian lives. Based on what we have seen, Vancouver is probably a town where any one of them could have thrown a stone in any direction and hit someone with whom Jillian has swapped spit. Just don't point that out to her - more on that later. First, a few more highlights from this installment...

- Krypton, who kind of resembles an effeminate Steve Guttenberg, went on a one-on-one date with Jillian in which they engaged in the age old romantic Vancouv...

'Dancing With The Stars': Week 3

April 1st, 2008 11:29am EDT
Marlee Matlin
We're down to the final 10. Buckle up, we've got an hour and a half of this!

Marlee and Fabian - Jive

She has a Hallmark movie on CBS in a few weeks, and I bet she plays a deaf woman. Marlee looks extra hot tonight, though, and the dancing is fantastic. She is in league with Kristy as one of the best dancers on the show. I'm predicting she'll be in the final three. Len says she never ceases to amaze him, Bruno is not as enthusiastic, and Carrie Ann is starting to get nitpicky, telling Marlee to be careful with her hands.

My Score- 8

Carrie Ann- 7

Len- 7

Bruno- 7

The First Two Couples Eliminated From 'Dancing With The Stars'

March 26th, 2008 9:23am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Magician Penn Jillette and tennis champ Monica Seles were the first stars eliminated from the sixth season of ABC's ''Dancing With the Stars.'' Each came into Tuesday's results show in last place.

Jillette, 53, added a dash of magic to his quickstep, but his footwork failed to impress the judges. Despite his dismissal, the magician insisted that he and his professional partner would continue to rehearse daily and planned to perform in the parking lot. ''There's no way my dance career ends now,'' he said.

Before her name was announced, Seles said being the first ...

'Dancing With The Stars': Music Ranges From Annoying To Jam-A-Pen-In-My-Ears Terrible

March 25th, 2008 9:05am EDT
Mario
Here we are, week number two of 39. I'm going to be glossing over all the filler because honestly nobody wants to sit through it, so why give them the satisfaction of writing about it? So here is week two, written as I watch it.

Steve Guttenberg and Anna - Mambo

Anna brought her mom to rehearsals, and it was only slightly awkward to learn her mom is as old as Steve. She gave Steve some great advice though about enjoying the dance. Let's see if he can translate that to his dancing. First off, the music they pick for these dances ranges from mildly annoying to jam-a-pen-in-my-ears horr...

'Dancing with the Stars' Premiere Part 2: Ladies Night

March 19th, 2008 9:18am EDT
Dancing With The Stars competitor Shannon Elizabeth
On Tuesday's episode of "Dancing With The Stars" they started out by reintroducing the competitors, for the three of you who didn't watch Monday night. At least we didn't have to sit through another random dancing scene, but I was left wondering what they're going to do to fill time - clips from Monday night, of course.

I noticed Steve Guttenberg got 666, creepy. Since I have the mutant power to remember what happened Monday night I started to zone out a bit. Len was in a good mood the night before, but apparently he was grumpy on Tuesday. Good thing he is professional enough to let u...

'Dancing With The Stars' Premiere Part 1: The Dudes

March 18th, 2008 9:34am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
We began the new season of Dancing With The Stars with a hilarious-ish montage of people falling down. When I’m on "Dancing With The Stars" my contract will stipulate that no footage of me falling on my ass can be shown. I’m putting my money on two shows before someone trips or faints or hits a cameraman with a shoe.

Ah, the professional dancers are on stage giving us a sneak preview of every hour-long results show we’ll be seeing from now until May. I forgot that watching this show makes me wish I was a dancer. Then I remember I can’t walk in a straight line without tripping so dancin...

Must Avoid Movies of 2009

January 1st, 2008 11:00am EST
My Bloody Valentine 3-D
2009 is upon us, bringing with it all the hope that new year's usually bring. Usually, this hope is for health, happiness, and prosperity, and that is exactly how it should be. This year, however, I have an additional hope - or I should say, I had an additional hope - that Hollywood wouldn't soil our planet with films that make me wish my eyes had been burned out in some kind of electrical accident. Alas, ever the Cubs fan, I must wait for next year. Until then, I take solace in the fact that I may save you the pain of sitting through these movies.

Steve Guttenberg Talks To Starpulse About His Charity, Being Famous & Why He Sometimes Lies To The Press

October 17th, 2007 11:24am EDT
Steve Guttenberg
Recently, Steve Guttenberg appeared at New York's Upright Citizens' Brigade (UCB) Theater for an installment of "Inside Joke," a live talk show about the craft of comedy. Certainly there's much to be learned in the arena of humor from the star of films such as Police Academy, Cocoon, Short Circuit, and Three Men and a Little Lady, but The Gute also has much to say on the subjects of community, fame, and responsibility, not to mention some info on a few forthcoming acting roles and a book.

How did your appearance at the UCB Theater go?

I had the best time and now that I'm back in ...
