Child star Abigail Breslin is an early favorite to land a Best Actress Golden Globe award for acclaimed movie Little Miss Sunshine, according to Hollywood insiders. Sources tell awards website theenvelope.com that Breslin became a hot favourite when Globes organisers at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association agreed Breslin was the standout actress in the hit ensemble film - and, as such, deserved to compete for the Best Actress prize instead of the Best Supporting Actress award.

After winning five Tonys earlier this year-including honors for Best Play--The History Boys is set to conquer the big screen this November with Fox Searchlight's film adaptation of the Broadway phenomenon.
