9 Hollywood Stars You Didn't Know Were In Your Favorite Video Game

9 Hollywood Stars You Didn't Know Were In Your Favorite Video Ga
As video game sales continue to rival or even surpass Hollywood box office receipts, plenty of famous actors and actresses are crossing over to lend their talents to another industry. Funny thing is though, you might not even realize it. Plenty of game companies have recruited Hollywood stars to serve as voice actors for their top titles. Sometimes the star's in-game character is rendered after their real world appearance, but more often than not, the game will feature a character that looks nothing like the voice actor, leaving the most casual fans in the dark about who was behind the mic....

Seth Green: Ben Affleck Not Scary Enough for Batman Role

February 19th, 2014 3:03pm EST
Seth Green
Actor and comic aficionado Seth Green has an interesting take on Ben Affleck being the next Batman.

While on Larry King Now, Green revealed that he believes Affleck isn't scary enough to be the Batman needed in a Batman/Superman film. He tells the talk show host, "You’ve got to remember that at the core of that character, Batman’s a crazy person. Batman has no powers. Batman is a rich, screwed-up kid whose parents were killed in front of him, who with his money and insanity decided to become a vigilante symbol to combat darkness. Christian Bale was great because he plays that part."

Celebrities That Turn 40 In 2014

January 1st, 2014 11:00am EST
Leonardo DiCaprio
Happy New Years everyone and welcome to 2014!

It's that time of year for our annual "who is turning 40" this year extravaganza. Truth is, lots of people do, but we'll just keep it to the more famous variety of peeps in the world.

Doing some simple math, 40 years ago would make it 1974.

For those of you who weren't around that year, the mantra of 74' and the world was energy crisis -gasoline was a little hard to get and lines at gas stations were blocks long. Because of the crisis, our then President, Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon imposed a 55 MPH speed limit on highways. That wasn't the re...

19 Celebrities Who Are Older Than You Think
Some stars are blessed with youthful looks: would you believe Jim Parsons is 40? Other stars are blessed with youthful roles: we've seen Tom Welling as a young Clark Kent for so long it's hard to believe he's 36.

Speaking of superheroes, Andrew Garfield was able to pull off a believable high school-aged Peter Parker despite being 28 at the time. He's now 30 and looks like he'll play the role just fine once more. Perhaps his girlfriend Emma Stone, who is 6 years his junior, adds to his youthful appearance!

Here are some more celebrities who are older than you think...

Seth Green Shocked By 'Robot Chicken' Success

June 8th, 2012 5:49pm EDT
Seth Green
Actor Seth Green is stunned his animated TV comedy Robot Chicken has reached 100 episodes, branding the show's success "super surreal."

The sketch series, which parodies pop culture conventions using stop-motion animation of toys and action figures, launched in 2005, and Green is astounded it has enjoyed seven years on air because it was always his "side project".

He tells The Canadian Press, "It's super surreal... because this was just never meant to be something that actually was a show, let alone a series, let alone a long-running series."

"This was such a side project. This was su...

Actor Seth Green has been given the ultimate fan tribute - a message from outer space.

After learning astronauts at the International Space Station were tweeting photographs, the sci-fi-obsessed star became a follower and found a friend in U.S. spaceman Ron Garan.

During their initial correspondence, Garan told Green that he and his family were big fans of his comedy film Rat Race - and, as a gift to the actor, he'd requested a DVD copy - which was flown up to him onboard the Atlantis shuttle.

To prove he wasn't joking, Garan signed the disc and photographed it up against a window on the...

This week, Warner Home Video brings you the next installment in Robot Chicken's successful line of Star Wars parodies: Star Wars III. Join Emperor Palpatine as he narrates another volume in utter craziness across the galaxy. Here's my review.

The Show

I have to admit that before I saw Star Wars III, Robot Chicken had never interested me. The few minutes I saw of it on Adult Swim only confused me. Star Wars III, however, is hilarious. It's head and shoulders above Family Guy: It's A Trap! (which is funny considering that Seth Green was involved in both projects). Both are equally inappr...

Spy Movies: Which One Is Your Favorite?

The movie Duplicity starring Clive Owen and Julia Roberts hit theaters this weekend. In the film, Owen, a former MI-6 agent, and Roberts, a former CIA agent, work together on a project, but neither feels they can completely trust each other. The word duplicity means to conceal one's true intentions by deceptive words or actions, and the title seems very fitting. The release is sure to be one of the more popular movies of the spring, and it got Starpulse thinking about the best spy movies.

One of the most entertaing spy movies is Arnold Schwarzenegger's True Lies, where he plays ...

For fans of Seth MacFarlane and his irreverent, hilarious cartoon shows, the San Diego Comic Con was an exciting place to be on Friday, July 25. "American Dad" and "Family Guy" gave previews of their exciting new seasons back to back, with most of the cast and writers in attendance.

MacFarlane was notably the center of most of the questions and attention, but he did remind the audience at one point that he is not the only writer on the shows. This sort of humility was surprising in the otherwise cheeky and pompous comedian, but nevertheless he was very sincere. He has recently used hi...
