Biography:
The Maryland native made his stage debut as Eugene Gant in a 1963 production of "Look Homeward, Angel" at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia. He toyed with the idea of becoming an English professor, but decided, instead, to give New York theatre a try and migrated to Manhattan in 1967.
