| I met Mr Garner when he used to race at the Ontario Speedway, he wa so down to earth and very congenial. Later in the 80's spoke with him again when the actors were on strike, he was so very friendly to all that approached him and spent some quality time talking with me and pitching polaroid ones liners. God Bless him | ||

| i met mr. garner when i was 10. this was in 1956. he was grand marshall at our little league opening day. he stayed several hours. he spoke to all of us kids and our parents. my friend works at paramaount studios. he say, james is one of the nicest people in the world. his crew on shoots will attest to this. wish we had more people like him.
