It has been a long and arduous journey for Eli Stone this season - both the character and the series. The character of Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) has had to deal with visions from God, a deadly aneurysm, and a complete change of lifestyle; while the series struggled with inconsistency early on.

Time could be running out for the title character in "Eli Stone." With the date of his possibly fatal operation rapidly approaching, one might think that Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) would be a little preoccupied and thus not able to carry on with his normal, world-saving duties. Luckily for the citizens of San Francisco, that is not the case. For no sooner does Eli leave the doctor's office then he gets hit with a fairly terrifying vision.

It's a nice foggy day in San Francisco, and it's good to see that. This might seem nitpicky, but "Eli Stone" rarely features establishing shots of the city with the famous fog present, so it's a nice change. The writers don't waste any time moving things along this week, as Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) gets his vision in the first scene. And it's...wait for it...a vision of the future!

With the distant memory that was the writers' strike slowly fading from the minds of TV viewers, everyone is preparing for the return of their favorite shows. Well, you better take the time to enjoy them because they might not all be coming back in the fall.

Eli's (Jonny Lee Miller) visions take an odd turn as he learns more about his brother Nate's (Matt Letscher) dark past in this week's marginally entertaining installment of "Eli Stone." Nate is being sued by a widower (played by "Oz" alum Blake Robbins!), who claims that Nate made a biased decision when he passed over the man's wife for a heart transplant.

You know them, you love them...and you certainly wouldn't want to piss them off. So who are they? They are the uber tough heroines who prove time and again that one doesn't need a y chromosome to kill bad guys, protect loved ones and ultimately save the day.

Eli Stone (Jonny Lee Miller) has had a rough couple of weeks. He was demoted at work, broke up with Taylor (Natasha Henstridge), and effectively pushed away nearly everyone else who was close to him. Oh, and he also decided that he would have surgery to remove that pesky aneurysm, only to discover that the side effects of such a procedure could be disastrous, if not fatal. Sad times in Eli land.
