'The Firm' Recap: 'Chapter Six' (1.06)
This week's sixth installment of The Firm belongs to its guest star, but also reveals some important pieces of the puzzle, so it's a necessary stepping stone to bigger things.

Actor Victor Garber was hired to replace first choice Robert Wagner as the voice of detective agency owner Charles Townsend at the beginning of the week.
He jokes, "They (producers) were in a panic. I think my agent was negotiating with someone in the Emmys audience (on Sunday)."
But Garber is thrilled to be playing the role which was originated by the late John Forsythe.

Justin Bartha To Replace T.R. Knight In Broadway Show
The Hangover actor Justin Bartha is reportedly set to replace T.R. Knight on Broadway - making his debut in a revival of "Lend Me A Tenor". Bartha is stepping into the role originally announced for Knight, who dropped out prior to the announcement of dates last week, according to a cast listing on Telecharge, the show's official online ticket outlet.
Replacing Knight would mean the actor is set to step into the role of Max - the assistant to the general manager of the Cleveland Opera Company forced to sub for a renowned tenor in a production of Othello. The role was played by Victor Garb...

'Glee' Recap: 'Acafellas'
Despite being called "Acafella" and focusing on Will's attempts to form his own adult group, this week's episode was still all about the kids…particularly Miss Mercedes. The girl moved just as fiercely as any of her scantily clad cheerleader back-up dancers during "Bust Your Windows." Kurt may have broken her heart initially (by lying about loving Rachel), but when he finally confessed his homosexuality, Mercedes pulled through with a heartfelt and supportive (if not slightly sappy) speech about friendship and acceptance. With Mercedes left boyfriendless I really hoped this would be the epi...

Eli Takes Down A Philanthropist On 'Eli Stone'
It has been a few episodes since Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) and Jordan (Victor Garber) started their own firm, and things have been going anything but smoothly since. The duo lost most of their former employees to Posner & Klein, are having a tough time attracting clients that will pay the bills, and are just finding the San Francisco legal waters to be rough in general. Things pick up right where they left off last time - with Eli having alienated the firm's biggest client by choosing to represent his son in an emancipation hearing.

Choosing Sides On 'Eli Stone'
When last we saw Eli Stone and friends, Jordan (Victor Garber) had been ousted from the firm that he helped create. He and Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) decided to partner up and create a new, kinder and gentler firm of their own. That means that all of the lawyers and staff of the former Wethersby, Posner & Klein are given a very difficult choice to make - stay loyal to Jordan and leave Posner & Klein, or accept a huge raise from Martin Posner (Tom Amandes). The decision is an easy one for some, more difficult for others, but honestly, the majority of the people who have to make the decision a...
READ MORE'Eli Stone' Recap: Lead Paint and a Magic Book
With the resolution of Eli's crisis of faith having already come (his reluctance to become a prophet was so last season), "Eli Stone" was in need of a larger story arc to keep the momentum going and provide viewers with a reason to tune in each week. Posner (Tom Amandes) and Klein's (Katey Sagal) attempt to wrest the firm from Jordan's (Victor Garber) control has provided just that. Not only does this week's episode continue to progress that story arc, but it also throws in a few more juicy tidbits from the future, especially one which rivals the Eli/Maggie baby flash-forward from season ...

Things are somewhat back to normal in San Francisco on Eli Stone. Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) has the aneurysm (and thus the visions) once more, pretty much everyone thinks he is crazy, and the city still has a fake baseball team (seriously guys, you can't pay a little extra to use the Giants?). Alas, the fake Barry Bonds from last season is nowhere to be seen.

Sigourney Is The New George On 'Eli Stone'
When last we left everyone's favorite heartless lawyer turned defender of the defenseless, he had just undergone an operation to remove a dangerous aneurysm from his brain. It wasn't clear at the time whether Eli's (Jonny Lee Miller) visions also would disappear once the aneurysm was gone, as that whole "Lostish" science vs. faith argument was a major component of the show's first season. In the end, Eli hoped that with the aneurysm out of his brain, his visions would cease, and he could go back to living a normal live.

'Eli Stone' Season Finale: Is George Michael God? And Other Burning Questions About the Universe
It has been a long and arduous journey for Eli Stone this season - both the character and the series. The character of Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) has had to deal with visions from God, a deadly aneurysm, and a complete change of lifestyle; while the series struggled with inconsistency early on. Although things for Eli the character have continued to be murky in recent weeks, "Eli Stone" the series has greatly improved in the second half of its season. All of that has lead to the season finale, which is without a doubt the strongest episode in the series thus far.

'Eli Stone' Recap: Second Earthquake Vision The Charm?
Time could be running out for the title character in "Eli Stone." With the date of his possibly fatal operation rapidly approaching, one might think that Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) would be a little preoccupied and thus not able to carry on with his normal, world-saving duties. Luckily for the citizens of San Francisco, that is not the case. For no sooner does Eli leave the doctor's office then he gets hit with a fairly terrifying vision.

'Eli Stone' Recap: Visions of the Future
It's a nice foggy day in San Francisco, and it's good to see that. This might seem nitpicky, but "Eli Stone" rarely features establishing shots of the city with the famous fog present, so it's a nice change. The writers don't waste any time moving things along this week, as Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) gets his vision in the first scene. And it's...wait for it...a vision of the future! No, it's not a dark, Sarah Connor-like nightmarish view of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, but hey, it's still the future! Seems like a man named Dennis Mosley (Sterling K. Brown) is quite the popular leader in ...

'Eli Stone' Recap: Matters Of The Heart
Eli's (Jonny Lee Miller) visions take an odd turn as he learns more about his brother Nate's (Matt Letscher) dark past in this week's marginally entertaining installment of "Eli Stone." Nate is being sued by a widower (played by "Oz" alum Blake Robbins!), who claims that Nate made a biased decision when he passed over the man's wife for a heart transplant. He has good reason to believe that there was foul play involved, as his wife was an alcoholic, and everyone seems to know the problems that the Stone boys have with alcoholism. Thanks, dad!

You know them, you love them...and you certainly wouldn't want to piss them off. So who are they? They are the uber tough heroines who prove time and again that one doesn't need a y chromosome to kill bad guys, protect loved ones and ultimately save the day. Each one of them fights for a different reason, a different cause. Each has her own style, strengths, and battles. They do all share a common trait, however - they can all take on pretty much any man, woman, robot or monster that comes their way. Here is Starpulse's tribute to "Television's Top Buttkicking Gals."

'Eli Stone' Recap: George Michael Comes to Town
Eli Stone (Jonny Lee Miller) has had a rough couple of weeks. He was demoted at work, broke up with Taylor (Natasha Henstridge), and effectively pushed away nearly everyone else who was close to him. Oh, and he also decided that he would have surgery to remove that pesky aneurysm, only to discover that the side effects of such a procedure could be disastrous, if not fatal. Sad times in Eli land.

'Eli Stone' Recap: Ridding The Bay Area Of Dragons Since 2008
Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) used to have visions about George Michael, the beach and church choirs. Sure they were odd, but they were also harmless. Unfortunately, those nice and fuzzy visions are now a thing of the past. This week on "Eli Stone," Eli is confronted with something much darker and deadlier - a gigantic, ferocious, fire-breathing dragon! The dragon is a nice touch, but it would have been a lot cooler if it was voiced by Sean Connery. "I am the last one!"

'Eli Stone' Recap: Atonement Ain't Easy
The episode begins with a standard "previously on Eli Stone" recap as opposed to the creative, Eli-narrated openings from weeks prior. Too bad, those were pretty much the only interesting component of the show. So anyway, after the generic recap, things start off with Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) and Maggie (Julie Gonzalo) in Hawaii. It doesn't appear to be a very pleasant trip as it takes less than a minute for Maggie to start being obnoxiously annoying. It's going to be a long hour.

Every episode of "Eli Stone" begins with a recap narrated by good ol' Eli (Jonny Lee Miller). In The End: Worst Series Finales
The series finale. There is nothing quite like it in television. It is perfectly normal, of course, to expect something magical when you are watching your favorite series come to an end. Still, at the end of the day it is what happens in between the pilot and the finale, and not the finale itself that should matter.
That being said, it's still fun to champion some finales and ridicule others. Here are some of the worst:
