Vincent Gallo
Actor/director Vincent Gallo has filed a lawsuit against city officials in Los Angeles over allegations they have been squandering taxpayers' money.

The Brown Bunny filmmaker claims the city-funded Arts District Business Improvement District (sic) organization, which is said to provide trash removal, security and cleaning in the L.A. Arts District, is wasting cash as it provides "no benefit" to residents, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Gallo is suing to have the program shut down and force a return of all the money it has brought in since its inception.

December 22nd, 2010 2:18pm EST
Chloe Sevigny
Actress Chloe Sevigny has pledged to stop flashing her flesh in movies - because she's been a part of too many "explicit sex scenes."

The Boys Don't Cry star, who once performed oral sex on then-boyfriend Vincent Gallo in the movie The Brown Bunny, insists she's no longer interested in stripping for provocative movies and has signed a no-nudity clause in an effort to keep her clothes on in the future.

She says, "I'm more self-aware now and wouldn't be able to be as free, so why even do it (bare all)?" And she has already clashed with directors on the set of her hit TV drama Big Love.

Quentin Tarantino Accused Of Favoritism At Venice Film Festival

September 12th, 2010 11:12pm EDT
Quentin Tarantino
An alleged fix has rocked the Venice Film Festival after a group of Italian journalists accused jury president Quentin Tarantino of favoring ex-girlfriends, pals and associates.

The outcry came after the filmmaker's former lover Sofia Coppola claimed the festival's main prize, the Golden Lion, on Saturday for her drama "Somewhere."

Tarantino has since insisted her win was unanimous, but the local media is still questioning the director's choice, especially after his friend Alex de la Iglesia won two prizes for his film Balada triste de trompeta and one of his mentors, Monte Hellman, was h...

Director Sofia Coppola has won the top honor at the Venice Film Festival for her movie "Somewhere."

Coppola thanked "The Godfather" director in her acceptance speech, saying: "Thanks to my dad for teaching me."

Quentin Tarantino, chairman of the Italian festival's jury and Coppola's ex-boyfriend, revealed her win was a unanimous choice.

Chloe Sevigny Is Uncomfortable Filming Sex Scenes

February 27th, 2006 11:25am EST
Chloe Sevigny
Chloe Sevigny is often appalled by the sexy and sleazy characters she plays in movies like Boys Don't Cry, Gummo, The Brown Bunny and Kids but accepts it's her way of rebelling against her strict Catholic upbringing. The quirky actress is shocked to think that fans see her as provocative and liberal in her film choices, because she's actually one of the most conservative people she knows.

And Sevigny, who infamously performed oral sex on her co-star Vincet Gallo in The Brown Bunny, often feels dirty after making controversial movies. She reveals, "They all make me uncomfortable. All se...
