The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis has cut back on his boozing after an altercation with a Jaguar driver and his passenger following a drunken night out in New York City.

The funnyman was walking home when the motorist almost hit him on a crosswalk, prompting angry Galifianakis to slap the car with his hand as it whizzed by.
