Elizabeth Taylor Funeral Details Confirmed

Glendale, California officials have confirmed reports Elizabeth Taylor will be interred at the city's Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Thursday March 24 - a day after her death.

The late, great movie icon will be buried in the cemetery's Great Mausoleum, where celebrities Michael Jackson, Carole Lombard and Clark Gable were laid to rest.

Taylor, 79, died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The actress converted to Judaism in the 1950s and Jewish tradition calls for a burial as soon as possible following the death.

'Gone With The Wind' Fans Save Costumes

Fans of movie classic "Gone With The Wind" have raised over $30,000 to preserve the costumes from the film.

More than 600 individuals from 44 states and 13 countries have contributed to the effort to preserve five original costumes that are part of the David O. Selznick film collection at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin, Texas.

The outfits, all worn by actress Vivien Leigh, include her character Scarlett O'Hara's burgundy ball gown and wedding dress.

The costumes had been exhibited frequently before they arrived in Austin in the 1980s, and, as a result they were in a fragile condition....

Security has been stepped up around Michael Jackson's tomb in California after vandals defaced the star's resting place with permanent ink tributes.

The King of Pop was interred at the Forest Lawn Cemetery memorial in Glendale, California following his death last year. Fans have flocked to pay their respects since then - but some mourners have taken to writing tributes, including 'Miss you sweet angel' and 'Keep the dream alive'.
