October 26th, 2010 9:15am EDT
Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy
This week, the Back to the Future trilogy comes out on Blu-ray for the 25th anniversary of the original film. For boys who grew up with a childhood crush on Marty McFly’s girlfriend, there is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with Jennifer Parker in Los Angeles.

Claudia Wells played Jennifer in the original Back to the Future. In 1991, she opened the resale menswear store Armani Wells in Studio City, CA. To this day she offers private dressing sessions where she will pick out shirts, jackets, pants and more for a man and physically dress him up.

Five-time Emmy Award winner Michael J. Fox faces off against current Julianna Margulies in an upcoming episode of the new season of "The Good Wife."

Fox will appear as Simon Canning, a shrewd and cynical litigator whom Alicia (Margulies) faces in a massive class action. Canning is willing to use anything in court, including symptoms of his neurological condition, to create sympathy for his otherwise unsympathetic client: a giant pharmaceutical company.

Carla Gugino Steams Up The Sidewalk On Her Way To 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

August 19th, 2010 6:39pm EDT
Carla Gugino
Carla Gugino wore a busty black dress and signed autographs before appearing on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show in Los Angeles on Wednesday. This is a drastic improvement over her fashion fail earlier this year.

Carla stars in the upcoming film "Sucker Punch," about a mental patient (Emily Browning) who escapes from her reality to deal with her abusive stepfather.

Not familiar with the actress? She starred in "Spin City" opposite Michael J. Fox; in the "Spy Kids" franchise; and played Sacajawea-obsessed guide Rebecca in "Night at the Museum." She also fronted the failed TV series "Karen S...

Radical Retro Movie Review: 'Back To The Future Part III' On 20th Anniversary

May 25th, 2010 2:00pm EDT
BTTF III
The “Back to the Future” series captures our hearts because it successfully blends science fiction, action, adventure, and comedy to show us teenager Marty McFly’s (Michael J. Fox) travels through time with his pal Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). These films follow a logical progression of events that transitions smoothly from one to another, but what’s interesting is that thematically they also maintain a forward progression.

“Back to the Future” establishes the sense of awe at the concept of time travel. In this chapter Marty is catapulted into the past, where he nearly prevents his ow...

Michael J. Fox Is Happy To Be Sober

April 9th, 2010 1:30pm EDT
Michael J. Fox
Michael J. Fox is pleased to have put his alcohol addiction firmly behind him, because giving up booze has helped in his battle with Parkinson's disease.

The Teen Wolf star was diagnosed with the progressive neurological condition in 1991 and he subsequently plunged into a deep depression, becoming dependent on alcohol.

He decided to quit drinking a year later and admits his early battle with sobriety was "like a knife fight in a closet" - but now he's convinced giving up alcohol has enhanced his life.

He says, "I wouldn't say it's a struggle to stay sober. I'd rather drink battery ac...

25 Years Ago In Film: A Celebration Of Classics From 1985

February 1st, 2010 9:10am EST
A Celebration Of Classics From 1985
It's difficult to believe the first month of 2010 is already over, considering it just felt like yesterday that I was ringing in the new decade. The end of January signals that the year is truly starting to pick up pace, but before it does I thought it might be appropriate to look back a little bit, well 25 years to be exact.

I'm going to climb into my cinematic time machine, as I frequently like to do, and travel back to 1985, one year before my own birth, to discuss some of its top grossing movies. Compared to some of the top grossing stories of the modern era, many of 1985's most ...

Actors Who Have Transitioned From TV To Film

For some actors, it is hard to make the crucial transition into film as a television star. Especially if you are typecast as a certain character and most people can't think of you as anyone else (for example, Matt LeBlanc as Joey on Friends). Television actors put their careers on the line when they leave their steady jobs to branch out into the film world, and they either make it or they don't. Here are the top television stars who managed to hold their own in the film world.

In the over 100 years of movie history we've seen lots of horrifying creatures. As time passes the wants and fears of the audience shifts, and some ideas exhaust themselves. Horror filmmakers have to be creative with ways to scare the audience. Crazy men with knives and the devil himself just don't do it anymore. This can yield excellent results in the form of a haunted video tape or zombies that can sprint. But most of the time things can get just a little silly.

Celebrity Marriages: What Makes Them Work (Or Not) & Why It May Be Better To Not Marry At All

Marriage is a sacred union between a loving couple until death do them part. Yet, in the Hollywood community it seems that most marriages end before the honeymoon does. Take Eddie Murphy, for example. He and Tracey Edmonds split this past January after just two weeks of (un)happily wedded bliss.

The probability of a celebrity marriage surviving is only 35 percent, according to enotalone.com. For the most part, celebrity marriages do not have the fairy tale or "movie ending" fans hope they will. Rates of divorce may seem higher in Hollywood than they actually are due to the heavy public...
