Dynasty was set in Denver and concerned the trials and tribulations of the oil-rich Carrington clan. John Forsythe and Linda Evans were top-billed as Blake and Krystle Carrington, but all the juicy scenes went to the cunning, conniving Alexis Carrington Colby, portrayed with caution to the winds by Joan Collins. Season two is now on DVD.

Jaclyn Smith Fears 'Charlie's Angels' Cancer Curse

Original Charlie's Angels star Jaclyn Smith fears the cast of the cult 1970s TV series is cursed - because four leading stars have all battled cancer. Smith and fellow Angel Kate Jackson battled breast cancer, John Forsythe, who provided the voice of detective agency boss Charlie, is a colon cancer survivor, and Farrah Fawcett is currently fighting the disease.
