Cute, brown-haired moppet who decided he would try acting when his elder sister decided it would be a good way to raise money for college. Fishman was chosen by Roseanne Barr (later simply Roseanne) to play her son D.J. on the sitcom "Roseanne" (ABC, 1988-97) and soon thereafter the tyke made his professional acting debut. With his hair in a Dutch-boy cut and with plenty of wisecracks to deliver as the mischievous youngest child, Fishman meshed amusingly with the ensemble to considerable popular acclaim, and doubtless now has plenty of money to attend the college of his choice when the time arrives.
