| Well, to be honest...yes Colin is a handsome man. He is just a man with a very nice build...very nice face...very nice accent...but take all that away and he is just a man. He is an ok actor. If he was a GREAT actor, wouldn't he be cast in many different roles other than a romantic comedy? In his younger years, he did do several different roles...Another Country, The Advocate, Valmont, Circle of Friends, The Girl with the Pearl Earring...my personal opinion is that he is a very diverse actor, but he only shines as an English gentlemen....Yes he was fantastic as Mr. Darcy...but can he do anything else as well as that role? Sorry Colin, there are some women in their 30's and 40's who don't swoon everytime you show up in a movie...now try some different roles like The Last Legion and see if we don't start to think differently. | ||

I saw Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice..Maybe it was long ago, but from that moment I realised that there are noble gentlemen who you could trust..He looked like that...He acted Mr. Darcy and believe me or not but reading the book, I imagined that character as Colin Firth acted him...He is the real man and a man of the dream!The real gentleman! Would be happy to see him one day... | ||
