Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are teaming up on the big screen for a third time in a new comedy.

The duo previously collaborated on hit films Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers, and now they are joining forces once again on Boarder Guards.

According to Deadline.com, Ferrell and Reilly are set to play hapless friends who decide their new purpose in life is to protect America's boarders from illegal immigrants attempting to enter the country.

However, the pair end up stranded in Mexico without proper identification and must find a way back to the U.S.

Production on Will Ferrell's latest comedy He's F**king Perfect has stalled due to scheduling issues.

Les Miserables star Amanda Seyfried was cast in the film late last year (Dec13) after Emma Stone dropped out, but now the troubled project has been shelved indefinitely because the actress and co-star Rebel Wilson are preparing to shoot sequels to Ted and Pitch Perfect, respectively.

A source tells the New York Post, "(Moviemakers are) unsure whether the project will come back together with the same cast."

Director Adam Mckay has ruled out plans to bring Anchorman back for another sequel.

Both the 2004 original and long-awaited 2013 follow-up were hits at the box office, bringing in a combined total of nearly $260 million worldwide, but McKay is adamant there will be no more films starring Will Ferrell's news broadcaster character Ron Burgundy.

Will Ferrell's latest Anchorman-inspired comedy project has been picked up for a pilot by the honchos at NBC network.

The 46 year-old comedian and his longtime producing partner Adam McKay are hoping to find success on network TV with their new series, Mission Control.

The sitcom is described as a "workplace ensemble in the tone of Anchorman (which) examines what happens when a strong woman butts heads with a macho astronaut in the race to land on the moon."
