Do These Hollywood Actors Look Better Or Worse With Facial Hair?
Facial hair can make a man look sophisticated or like a slob. Charming or a creep. Dozens of A-list actors in Hollywood have tried a beard on for size, so tell us – do these guys look better or worse with their facial hair?

For Argo, Ben Affleck made like a hockey player and kept a beard for "the playoffs," AKA awards season. He shaved it off at an Oscars after-party when his film won Best Picture.

George Clooney, like Ben Affleck, grew a "producer beard" while Argo was striving for awards. He also rocked just a moustache for a bit, but for the last year or so he's been clean-shav...

Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy were the Graham Norton Show to promote their upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past. It was there they told a story explaining how difficult it was to get Michael to leave his trailer.

Hugh said, "Michael is one of those actors you have to coax out of the trailer. He'll wait in there for hours and hours.

"To get him out, there was only really one song. We used to get the sound guy to play it very loud in the studio just s...

You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.

The Andrew Garfield-Batkid Situation: You may have heard the rumors swirling around the reason Batkid's surprise appearance at The Oscars was cut. Conflicting reports claim either Garfield had a fit over his lines and the producers cut the bit, or Emma Stone's mother was struggling with breast cancer so the actor dropped out to be with his girlfriend and her mom. What's the truth?

Verdict: Producers ca...

5 Reasons '12 Years A Slave' Deserved To Win Best Picture

5 Reasons '12 Years A Slave' Deserved To Win Best Picture
With 9 masterful films competing for Hollywood’s top prize, it was still uncertain at the beginning of this past Sunday’s Oscar’s ceremony which would come out on top. Countless great films have been snubbed in the past in favor of their inadequate counterparts, and it seemed that controversy was always rearing its ugly head in this year’s competition. But despite the hurdles in its way, no injustice was made when Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave was awarded the Best Picture statuette. Sure, the other films were top notch, but only “12 Years a Slave” transcended good moviemaking into a bona...

Oscar Predictions: Does 'Gravity' Carry Enough Weight?
For the most part, the major categories at the Oscars are fairly easy to predict. But some years there are upset winners (‘Shakespeare in Love,’ Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Binoche, Adrien Brody, to name a few) that remind us that anything can happen.

This year is a little different. Who remembers a year where the race for Best Picture is down to three films, two of which are so close that they tied at the Producers’ Guild? It seems like there are some definite locks this year (Hello, Cate Blanchett) but you read it here: Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing.

That said, here are the most likely...

The film distribution company handling the Italian release of 12 Years a Slave has apologized for changing the artwork on the movie poster from black British star Chiwetel Ejiofor to his two white co-stars, Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender.

BiM Distruzione has issued a public apology for replacing the film's official one-sheet poster to an unofficial and unauthorized version that many have called a racist move.

The company has since replaced the posters with the proper promotional imagery distributed by Lions Gate subsidiary Summit Entertainment.

SAG Award Nominees Named: '12 Years A Slave' Tops Nods (Full List)

12 Years a Slave
Some people were surprised by The Butler’s presence here, but I don’t see any surprises from them. Movies like Gravity and Her (which are frontrunners for a Best Picture nomination) aren’t large cast films, and wouldn’t get the Ensemble nomination over The Butler. The big surprise is Dallas Buyers Club, which is a relatively small cast, and did manage an Ensemble nomination. That could go a long way in getting DBC to a Best Picture nomination. Also, Daniel Bruhl is back in the race with a Supporting Actor nomination for Rush.

Kudos to the SAG members for nominating James Gandolfini for E...

The British star discusses his fear in the November issue of GQ magazine, saying, "You become a lot more successful in terms of, like, talking to a girl. She's all of a sudden more interested in me. I know that, like, three years ago, she would've walked away after two sentences left my mouth."

The "Prometheus" star says his longest relationship lasted only two years, and perhaps that has something to do with his fear.

Two brilliant scientists, the intense, religious Dr. Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and the very unspiritual Dr. Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green) certainly can't. Not after they discover a series of cave paintings that turn out to be a star map, left by several ancient Earth civilizations that points to the same location in distant space.

The crew comes into contact with a cobra-like appendage that fells one of the scientists. It's then that they realize they could have found something that could end their existence.
