A star-studded group of artists from rock, pop, hip-hop and beyond are lined up to commemorate TRL with their memories, performances, and more as MTV's "Total Finale Live" celebration grows ever closer.

It will be a costume countdown unlike any other as MTV: Music Television announced plans to ring in 2008 with the ultimate New Year's Eve masquerade party.

Having trouble remembering the lyrics to your fave new song? Well get ready it's all about the lyrics on MTV during "Spankin' New Lyrics Week" Monday, November 26th thru Thursday, November 29th. Hosted by MTV VJ Damien Fahey "Spankin' New Lyrics Week" will introduce fans to new music from their favorite artists performing their hit songs live on "TRL" which airs all week at 3:30pm-4:30pm ET/PT.

MTV: Music Television just announced the line-up for Spankin’ Free Music Week – the network’s annual nod to the best in music. From Monday, September 24, to Friday, September 29, every channel, platform and network of MTV including MTV Overdrive, MTV.com, MTV2, mtvU and more will collectively team up to showcase the hottest music and artists for over 75 hours of music programming.
