| I think he still looks like he did in David Douglas High School except he has longer hair and is gray now. His voice is still the same and he still walks and talks the same way he did then. Had two classes with him, doubt he would remember me now though many years ago. | ||

| i think im living with his brother. my husband looks a lot like him the hair nose mustache rugged good looks. my kids think so too. i bought the dec.07 issue of cowboys and indians magazine . will keep it forever. hes the bomb | ||

Sam has always made it a reason for me to see the movies.Calm, cool and collected in his roles. I was born up in Miles City, Montana and in my mind, watching Sam Elliot in the western roles, made me proud to have come from a long line of cowboys all the way back to the wagons that rolled into South Dakota, in the 1800's. Thanks Sam for letting me live some of the past through your great portrayal of the men stood their ground and didn't let people shove them around. I met you yesterday, in person, at a Safeway store in Portland, Oregon. You were a pleasure to talk with. I regret not being able to visit with you for awhile, but I understand what it is like to be bombbarded by people. Maybe that door will open one day. God bless you my new friend. | ||

Sam Elliott is the greatest actor to ever play the "AMERICAN COWBOY" in Tombstone. He is highly a great actor and along with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood he will always be a favorite of ours. Virgil W. & Rosa M. Barnes | ||

| I think he has the sexiest voice on the planet. I would love to spend my last days listening to him read Louis Lamour. People swear he is from Texas. He is the best cowboy ever and they could never replace him as Tell Sackett. He's great and I always look forward to his movies no matter what genre they may be. He does get better with age. | ||

Sam is by far one of the very best character actor ever.. it bothers me he isn't featured more. He is a real draw for me. Anyhow, just wanted to let Sam know he and his family are the best and I appreciate how they are able to stay out of the mainstream of Hollywood. Keep it up... | ||

| I remember the first time I saw Sam Elliott in the movie "Lifeguard". His furry chest and piercing eyes took my breath away....and then he spoke, and I melted into a puddle on the floor! Been there ever since, whenever I hear those "whiskey tones". Wish he'd do more with his wife, Katherine, another favorite of mine. | ||

| I thinkl Sam Elliott is one of Americas greatest actors ever (like Clint Eastwood, Betty Davis, Ozzie Davis, Joann Woodworth, Kevin Costner, Ruby Dee) because he doesn't just "Play" a character, he masters a a character, using his mind, body, eyes, voice and acting abilities during his execution of a role so _ _ _ _ well, that the viewer can easily forget Mr. Elliot's acting. And yet, often it's as though Mr. Elliott's teaching acting lessons even when he is working, he makes his acting appear "For Real!" Sam Elliott knows how to "bring it!" And, we who love big or small production movies ... know if Sam Elliott has any portion or role in a movie, the movie's has at least a chance of being seen, by a lot of people, because Sam Elliott's in the movie and he's one "Bad, shut-your-mouth, Brother," when it comes to acting and Both Sisters(especially) as well as Brothers, I'm sure will agree, of this I am certain too! Because, Sam Elliott's BAD.He is BAD! And, that means ... GOOD! | ||

| I fell in love with the vioce of Sam Elliot in "The Sacketts" movie. I have enjoyed watching him in other movies since, but I am now disappointed because of his involvement in the up coming athiestic movie "The Golden Compass". It breaks my heart to know he is involved in something that teaches children to kill God. | ||

I think Sam Elliot is a excellant actor, a very handsome man, a real man. His eye's are sexy, his white hair make him even more handsome Oh! an his voice is so, sexy to hear. I fell head over heels for him when I was almost 11 years old, and I still am even yet today. The first time I saw him in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid, I was so at awe at how good of an Actor he was in that movie. And he is a great actor in all the movies that I have watched that he has played in(Road House, Ghost Rider, Lone Some Dove & many other movies to just name a few that he has acted in). It would be wonderful to met Sam Elliot in person some day. Keep up the wonderful work Sam | ||

| Sexy - that voice - that hair - I have been swooning over Sam since the first time I saw him. I was 11 yrs old. I watched Once An Eagle with my mom, and from that moment on, that was it. I remember sneaking into see him in Lifeguard, but my parents would not let me. I have followed him and his career for more than 31 years now and I must say I remain torn between Tel Sacket, Gar or Wade. I also found out we share the same birthday - would I like to celebrate with him! | ||
