He is great. I would like to think he is the man he portrays in his movies. Open Range, Broken Trail, Lonesome Dove, Second Hand Lions, God father. race car movie /c tom cruise they are all made so memorable because of Duval. Recently I saw a very old movie Tomorrow, it was so real for that time era. My parents were raised in that era. Can I purchase this movie? I would love to spend the day just sitting around on the porch /c this great actor. Billie

I love the singing of Robert Duvall in the movie Tender Mercies. I can't understand why he never went for a singing career. I listen to his songs all the time.

I didn't know there was a site were I could tell all about gus.. and boy am I glad that I found it...I would like to say that mr duvall is the greatest cowboy, and I want one just like him...in lonesome dove he played gus, you are my man. at least I wish there were more out there like gus...so heres to gus and am still waiting to meet mine...I just love you gus...you are always in my dreams...robert duvall you are a real charmer..love y'all..mskittydianna

I have loved watching ROBERT DUVALL many yrs now, but never as much as I did in LONESOME DOVE. I know of no one who could capture that part as he did, That movie stayed with me for weeks. I would love to see DUVALL,TOM SELLECK, SAM ELLIET,TOMMY LEE JONES ,do a western together.In my latest magazine,(SANTA FEAN) inside the back cover is a picture of DUVALL in a scene from lonesome dove,Some one needs to do a painting of this one,, reproduce to the public, I am a widow, so I would never be able to afford an original, but certainly would like to have a reproduction,, DUVALL is the appitumy of what the old west was all about. I as many others are waiting for another DUVALL western.

I love to watch him. He is so versatile and so unpretentious. It is like he is just being himself. On the Emmys the other day he was like he was talking to some old friends when the interviewed him. He is just real - Secondhand Lions my favorite.
