Grooming expert Hugh Edward 'Kyan' Douglas was born on May 5, 1970, in Miami, Florida, but was raised in Tampa and Tallahassee. In his mid-20s he moved to New Orleans where he earned a degree in TV production from Loyola University. He left New Orleans after three of his close friends were murdered at a restaurant where he worked. Kyan is most famous for his part of the 'Fab Five' on "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy," which led him to appear on the television shows "Live With Regis & Kathie Lee," " Kathy Griffin My Life On The D-List" and the very popular "Howard Stern On Demand." He lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his partner, gay rights activist Gregory Durham, and their French bulldog named Louis. During his free time Kyan's hobbies are Yoga, aerobics and weightlifting.
