The drama is over - Johnny Drama is hitting the big screen! Jerry Ferrara has announced on Twitter that production is set to begin on the highly-anticipated Entourage film.

After weeks of public feuding over money, fuelled by Mark Wahlberg's recent comments saying "greedy guys" were holding the film back, it seems everything worked out in the end.

Ferrara posted last night, "I am proud to announce the #Entourage movie is officially a GO! Have to thank @wbpictures and @HBO for all the support to make this happen!"

He then shared, "On behalf of the 4 guys I wanna also thank the #entourage ...

October 21st, 2013 4:07pm EDT
Entourage
Last week, Mark Wahlberg told a TMZ cameraman that "greedy guys" were holding up the highly-anticipated Entourage movie. Now, a pair of cast members has responded.

Wahlberg said, "As soon as those guys stop being so greedy," when asked, "When is the Entourage movie coming out?"

He then continued, "No, we just want to make sure... it's one of those things where if the movie is a success, then we'll get to make a lot more of them, and then everybody will make a lot of money. We want to make it for the fans. It's the most I've ever been asked about a movie."

Days later, Jerry Ferrara, who p...

The HBO series starred Adrian Grenier as actor Vincent Chase with Kevin Connolly as his manager, Eric 'E' Murphy, and Jeremy Piven as his agent, Ari Gold, alongside fellow cast members Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara.

It was reported back in January that the film was given a green light by Warner Brothers, but either the cast or someone behind the scenes is ask...

The name of the animated show landed TV bosses in trouble with former The Real World star Johnny Devananzio, who claims to own the rights to his nickname Johnny Bananas. His lawyer issued a cease and desist letter to network executives in August, demanding they pull epis...

Celebrities Trying To Bring Back The Mustache

February 6th, 2009 11:51am EST
Robert Downey Jr.
Let's be honest, men's fashion isn't nearly as much fun as women's, especially when it comes to getting all gussied up in formal garb. For men, the pot can pretty much be boiled down to three basic variables: 1. Tie shape 2. To cummerbund or not to cummerbund and 3. Level of fashion bravado. So it is totally understandable for male celebrities to become jaded with the limited realm of prosaic male attire and seek other methods of adding a little snazzle dazzle to their personal senses of style.

Many men dabble in self-expression via varying facial hair patterns - a.k.a. "manscaping." ...

Who Will & Who Should Win An Emmy

September 18th, 2008 9:22am EDT

Ah, the Emmys, the most entertaining awards show and often the most frustrating. Why is it so frustrating? Because the voters get it wrong. They get the winners wrong more often than casual sports bettors. In fact, they get it so wrong that predicting the winners is often a fool's errand since it's impossible to determine what will strike the Academy's fancy as the reasons for their choices are as mystifying as the results.

Luckily, Starpulse.com has one such fool. So it's time for a round of everybody's favorite game: Who Will Win and Who Should Win?

There were surprises leading to gasps from the press, and plenty of nominations they all saw coming. Newcomer "Mad Men" led the drama category with 16 nominations w...

Enough drama, time to laugh! The Emmy nominations are upon us, two days away in fact, so it's time to round out our suggestions to The Academy's blue ribbon panel. In the final installment, the focus turns to comedy and the actors who make us laugh every week.

This category is far more loaded than the drama section with far fewer obvious mistakes on the ballot and a ton of strong performances from the men and the women (rather than watching the ladies struggle with substandard material from their mostly male counterparts. Yes, I will clamor for more female writers and directors every...

A Very Special Rose Ceremony: 5 Undesirable TV Bachelors

March 26th, 2008 2:30pm EDT
Entourage crew
There is something just giggle worthy about kicking contestants off a reality show by denying them a rose, the very object that our society has deemed a symbol of love. Ultimately it makes them feel unworthy, regardless of how undesirable the man on the other end of the stem may actually turn out to be. So in honor of the newest season of The Bachelor, which debuted on ABC last week, it seems only fitting that we should hold a very special rose ceremony of our own.

Ross Gellar

The first rose must go to one-half of pop culture's so-called perfect couple (but clearly not everyone agre...

Reverse Typecasting: What Happens When An Actor's Current Role Destroys Past Work

March 26th, 2008 12:02pm EDT
James Gandolfini
Typecasting is an actor's worst nightmare. The last thing a professional wants to happen is getting pigeonholed into the same role time after time following a breakthrough performance. Usually this happens at the beginning of a career, such as the case of Bob Denver. Denver was Gilligan for the rest of his career and essentially the rest his life. In fact, we dare you to think of one role Jim Nabors played other than Gomer Pyle (a prize to anyone who shouted out "Lugs Harvey in Stroker Ace").

In recent years, we have noticed a new phenomenon. In the past it was not as common for actors...
