It was just one year ago that actor Paul Walker was killed in a horrific car crash during the filming of his final film, "Fast & Furious 7."

Walker was memorialized this past weekend with Instagram posts and Twitter comments from co-stars Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris. Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel.

Diesel stated in a touching post on Facebook that Walker was more than a friend, he was a close family member as well.

Fans of the "Fast & Furious" film franchise can say a big 'thank you' to star Vin Diesel today, as he posted intimate photos from the set on his Facebook page yesterday from the film's 7th installment.

Most poignant was the first photo Diesel shared, a photo of himself and Paul Walker. Walker and Diesel were fast friends, Walker was killed in a car crash Nov. 30, 2013 while the duo were still in the midst of filming "Fast & Furious 7." There is no word yet on how they will address Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, in the film.

Marvel boosted the hype for its forthcoming superhero flick Guardians of the Galaxy during Tuesday night's episode of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. with a new sneak peek trailer.

Filming of Fast & Furious 7 is set to resume later this month, according to execs at Universal Studios.

Production on the film was halted last year following the death of star Paul Walker in late November, and now the cast & crew are ready to move on.

New reports claim Vin Diesel is bringing legendary TV detective Kojak to the big screen.

In the 1970s late actor Telly Savalas portrayed the beloved New York cop on TV and in a number of TV movies that followed. The franchise may now be revitalized by "The Fast and The Furious" star.

"Skyfall" writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade will write the script, while Diesel will produce the project with his One Race Films partner Samantha Vincent for Universal Pictures, according to Deadline.com.

Production on the latest movie in Vin Diesel's Chronicles of Riddick franchise has been put on hold due to financial issues, according to a report.
