19 Celebrities Who Are Older Than You Think
Some stars are blessed with youthful looks: would you believe Jim Parsons is 40? Other stars are blessed with youthful roles: we've seen Tom Welling as a young Clark Kent for so long it's hard to believe he's 36.

Speaking of superheroes, Andrew Garfield was able to pull off a believable high school-aged Peter Parker despite being 28 at the time. He's now 30 and looks like he'll play the role just fine once more. Perhaps his girlfriend Emma Stone, who is 6 years his junior, adds to his youthful appearance!

Here are some more celebrities who are older than you think...

Perhaps it's be...

'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' Delayed Due To 'Lone Ranger' Flop?

September 11th, 2013 8:07pm EDT
Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp's most recent attempt at a summer blockbuster may be harming his chances at making a sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean.

The fifth Pirates movie, currently titled "Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," has been delayed beyond its original summer 2015 release date. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer blames problems with a script, but Disney may be getting cold feet.

Disney also worked with Bruckheimer and Depp on The Lone Ranger, which went over-budget and cost around $250 million to make. It only made $88 million in domestic theaters and has a worldwide total of $250 million....

A.M. Roundup: Johnny Depp Blasts 'Lone Ranger' Critics, 'Bachelorette' Engagement, Usher's Son Nearly Drowns

August 7th, 2013 10:01am EDT
Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer are angry at critics for ruining "The Lone Ranger". The film's two stars have blamed bad reviews for the movie's poor performance, implying that critics were bashing the film long before they even saw it. "I think the reviews were written seven to eight months before we released the film," Depp said. "I think the reviews were written when they heard Gore (Verbinski, director) and Jerry (Bruckheimer, producer) and me were going to do 'The Lone Ranger'. They had expectations that it must be a blockbuster. I didn't have any expectations of that. I never do." Hammer...

Johnny Depp 'Not Too Far Away' From Retirement

July 30th, 2013 1:07am EDT
Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp may only star in a few more movies before he retreats from the spotlight.

The notoriously-private Depp was promoting his flop The Lone Ranger on "BBC Breakfast" ahead of its UK release August 9 when he said he won't be "dropping out any second," but the idea of retiring keeps getting stronger. Depp had also told Rolling Stone earlier this year he was considering retirement.

He says, "At a certain point you start thinking and you add up the amount of dialogue you say per year, for example, and you realize that you've said written words more than you actually had the chance to s...

5 Fun Facts: 'The Lone Ranger' Star Johnny Depp

July 4th, 2013 7:48am EDT
Johnny Depp
Is Jack Sparrow back? No, but Johnny Depp, his long-haired wig and outrageous make-up are.

Depp is revising the role of Tonto in the July 3rd release of “The Lone Ranger.” Popular in the 50s, the show followed Lone Ranger and his Indian companion, Tonto, as they fought injustice. Original fans may remember the show more targeted towards the Lone Ranger. This time around, it seems like all eyes are on Tonto.

Depp has taken the character of Tonto to new heights. Even though the story focuses on the Lone Ranger, Depp plays the role of Tonto in a way that makes him stand out on screen. Is tha...

Johnny Depp's Tonto Look Was Inspired By His Great Grandmother

July 3rd, 2013 5:00pm EDT
Johnny Depp as Tonto in The Lone Ranger
While Johnny Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean character Capt. Jack Sparrow may have been inspired by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards (who even played the character's dad in the third and fourth films in the series), the actor has revealed that the inspiration for his Native American character Tonto in The Lone Ranger came from somewhere a bit closer to home.

Depp says that it was his great grandmother -- part Native American herself -- who was his inspiration, and he instructed the film's make-up artists to make him resemble her.

"I saw my great grandmother [as the model for Tonto]...

8 Things To Know About 'The Lone Ranger'

July 2nd, 2013 12:00pm EDT
The Lone Ranger & Tonto
On July 3, Disney is going to march out a film that they certainly hope is a hit. With an astounding budget and plenty of big name stars it can be easy to get lost in a pool of popcorn butter. The Lone Ranger has been around for a hell of a lot longer than you think, coming from a time when people listened to the radio (and I mean in places other than their cars). As anything that is exceptionally old there is a whole lot going on under that wrinkly surface (the appeal of this piece with the seniors is going to be through the roof) with plenty of stories and information that theaters full o...

'The Lone Ranger' Review: Johnny Depp Is More Jack Sparrow Than Native American Warrior Tonto

July 2nd, 2013 7:36am EDT
'The Lone Ranger'
Okay, maybe I missed something here. I have never seen the television show "The Lone Ranger" but I do know that it's about this dude who wore a mask, had a BFF named Tonto and rode around on his horse Silver, saving folks from bad guys in the old West.

To the best of my knowledge, the show was not a comedy. It was a serious western.

So you can imagine my surprise when I sat down to watch "The Lone Ranger" and found it filled with one joke after another - and not very funny ones.

That's right guys and girls, this is an action comedy, at least according to the press notes... And there i...
