Warwick Davis worries a dwarf-throwing scene in the Oscar nominated film The Wolf Of Wall Street will glamorize the unusual game.

The Harry Potter star is disturbed over a scene in Martin Scorsese's film about corrupt stockbroker Jordan Belfort in which the trader and his colleagues throw small people at a cloth target.

The British actor, who runs an agency for small actors, has branded the practice "reprehensible" and is concerned its light-hearted use in the Oscar-nominated movie will give viewers the impression the game is fun.

British actor Warwick Davis has created a new smartphone app about celebrity culture.

The Harry Potter star worked on the PocketWarwick game for nine months and is hoping it will give users "an idea" of what life is like in the spotlight.

He tells Britain's Metro newspaper, "(On) my new phone game app, PocketWarwick... I'm a Z-list celebrity and you've got to get me on to the A-list. If you don't have enough money to feed me, the consequences are serious."

Harry Potter star Warwick Davis has criticized movie bosses for failing to cast smaller actors to play the seven dwarves in new movie Snow White And The Huntsman, calling the snub "inexcusable".

Ricky Gervais has defended his new sitcom centered around Warwick Davis, insisting he doesn't rely on the dwarf actor's short stature for the show's jokes.

Gervais and his writing partner Stephen Merchant recruited the Harry Potter star, who was born with dwarfism, for upcoming TV comedy Life's Too Short, about a dwarf actor running a struggling showbiz agency.

Ricky Gervais is teaming up with his Extras co-star Warwick Davis for a new sitcom about the everyday life of a dwarf.

The BBC has commissioned The Office funnyman to write and oversee a pilot episode of observant comedy Life's Too Short, which will give an insight into Davis' world.

British actor Davis, who was born with dwarfism, is most famous for starring in 1980s fantasy film Willow and his recurring role as Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter movie series. Gervais, who makes a cameo appearance in Life's Too Short, insists the program will be a quirky hit.
