Actor John Cusack is heading to the small screen to make a rare guest appearance in a new Wall Street drama series he is executive producing.

The High Fidelity star previously agreed to take on a behind-the-scenes role on the as-yet-untitled show, which was developed for TV by Justified's Taylor Elmore and Ben Cavell from a story they wrote with Cusack and pal Kevin McCabe.

The drama, about the money and power of the New York finance world, will feature Boardwalk Empire actor Charlie Cox as a smart soldier-turned-hedge fund trader, and now Cusack has signed up to co-star in the pilot as a...

Rapper 50 Cent has landed a leading role in Bruce Willis and John Cusack's new thriller The Prince.

The film, which will start shooting in Alabama next month (Dec13), also features Jason Patric and Johnathon Schaech, and centres on a family man trying to leave his life as a mob enforcer behind.

Patric will play the retired tough guy, while Willis will portray the movie's villain.

An overzealous fan arrested at John Cusack's Los Angeles home on Tuesday (03Sep13) has been charged with stalking and harassing the movie star.

Elizabeth Pahlke has been hit with felony counts of stalking with a restraining order and attempted burglary.

The 45 year old was held by cops after she was allegedly caught trying to break into the actor's Malibu property by climbing through a window and scaling a fence.

According to TMZ.com, prosecutors are demanding her bail be raised from $150,000 (£100,000) to $200,000 (£133,000).

The woman who was arrested at John Cusack's Los Angeles home on Tuesday (03Sep13) had been bombarding the High Fidelity star with emails and letters for three years, according to his legal papers.

The movie star was left spooked when Elizabeth Pahlke showed up at his property in Malibu on 29 August (13) and insisted on waiting outside with a letter.

He called police to have Pahlke arrested and took out a temporary restraining order against her the next day (30Aug13), revealing the 45 year old had been writing, calling and tweeting him since 2010.

Police Investigate Break-In At John Cusack's Malibu Home

On Tuesday,a woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to break in to John Cusack's Los Angeles home.

The suspect, named online as Elizabeth Pahlke, 45, allegedly failed multiple times to get through a window at the actor's Malibu estate and was later caught by security staff as she scaled a fence in the grounds.

Officers arrested the woman and she has been booked for felony stalking and burglary. She is currently being held on $150,000 bail.

The Hot Tub Time Machine star was not at home when the incident occurred, according to a report on TMZ.com.

The Army intelligence analyst was handed a 35-year prison term on Wednesday (21Aug13) after being found guilty of 20 crimes, including six violations of the Espionage Act, for releasing U.S. state secrets to the whistleblowing website.

John Cusack has pledged to match donations of up to $10,000 to the Freedom of the Press Foundation to help support investigative journalism.

The Raven star, who serves on the organization's Board of Directors, has long been committed to ensuring reporters have the money they need to focus on issues of public interest, like exposing mismanagement, corruption, and law-breaking in the government.

John Cusack stars as legendary mystery writer Edgar Allan Poe in The Raven, which opens in theaters tomorrow, and so far the reviews of the film are tell-tale signs that point to it being a disappointment.

The film reportedly takes place in the week before Poe's death, when a series of murders lead to the writer joining with a Baltimore detective to stop a psychotic serial killer who is using Poe's classic tales of the macabre to carry out a series of gruesome murders.

Actor Kevin Bacon has launched a new campaign against the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline in a bid to protect the rare spirit bear.

Environmental activists have been campaigning to prevent the building of the pipeline, which will transport oil reserves from Canada through the heart of the U.S. to the Gulf of Mexico, and last week, President Barack Obama shelved the controversial plan until after the 2012 election - to allow for a review of the proposal.

50 Cent will play an Alaskan pimp in a new movie about 1980s serial killer Robert Hansen.

As previously revealed, the rapper/actor will executive produce thriller The Frozen Ground, but now it's clear he will be among the ensemble cast too.

John Cusack, Nicolas Cage and Vanessa Hudgens will also appear in the film, which will start shooting in Alaska next month.

Hansen, who was known as The Butcher Baker, murdered 17 prostitutes and strippers. He'll be played by Cusack in the film.
