Film veteran Tony Curtis is recovering in a Nevada hospital after undergoing a routine ileostomy. The Some Like It Hot star, 82, underwent the procedure - which leaves a surgically formed opening in the lower part of the small intestine - at St. Rose Hospital in Henderson last week.
The actor's lawyer Rachael Ganatta says, "He's doing great. He should be home any day now." Curtis underwent the surgery after delaying it so he could recover from his bout of pneumonia last year. The actor spent several days in a coma after contracting pneumonia in December.
