Forgotten Friday Flick - 'The Little Shop Of Horrors'
With the new film "The Age of Adaline" at the cinema this week it felt right to go old school and check out some black and white past picture fare with a memorable flair – welcome to Forgotten Friday Flick! Don’t let the 1960 elder movie selection this week fool you, as there’s plenty of wit, sass and people eating botanical class to be had. It’s a joyous terror tale of sorts that was the origin of the famed character of a pesky plant with an unhealthy appetite. Conan O'Brien Reveals His Epic Scene From SyFy's Upcoming 'Shark
Conan O'Brien is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming SyFy schlock-fest "Sharktopus vs Pteracuda," and the TV host shared his big scene on Wednesday night's episode of Conan.

The comedian announced his part in the film last week, revealing a billboard to celebrate his first film role in director Roger Corman's latest campy film, the sequel to 2010's "Sharktopus."

Conan's billboard touts his role as a "career defining performance" in the Sy-Fy B-movie, and even calls for consideration for major awards.

"For Your Emmy And/Or Oscar And/Or BAFTA Consideration," the billboard reads.

Jack Nicholson
Jack Nicholson fought back tears as he paid tribute to the director who gave him his big break in the late 1950s during a recent documentary chat.

The movie legend agreed to sit down for 20 minutes for director Alex Stapleton's Roger Corman film, "Corman's World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel," but according to The Hollywood Reporter he became emotional as the memories ticked by.

He ended up spending hours chatting to Stapleton, who says, "After we finished, Jack told me, 'I've only gone on camera one other time for something like this - for Stanley Kubrick.'"

Nicholson's first movie rol...

Trailer Talk: This Week in Movies
Sadly, I haven’t caught last week’s pick yet: “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.” However I did have the misfortune of watching the David Gordon Green comedy “The Sitter,” which turned out to be a complete dud. If you haven’t already read my review, give it a look to find out why I think Jonah Hill deserves better.

Arriving in theaters this week are the Guy Ritchie sequel “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” the Roman Polanski parental dramedy “Carnage,” the third Chipmunks adventure “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked,” and the Roger Corman themed documentary “Corman’s World: Exploits of a...

Roger corman
Anyone doing a documentary on infamous B-movie master Roger Corman has got a plethora of product to draw from. As the driving force behind over three hundred plus titles equal parts good, bad and ugly, Corman’s career as both director and producer spans decades and the sheer magnitude of his body of work is both a blessing and a curse for newbie doc filmmaker Alex Stapleton and her flick "Corman's World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel" – inspiring but incomplete.

Corman’s story is one of an outsider deciding to embrace going against the grain. After working on an early Fox picture titled ...
