British Stars Pay Tribute To Comedy King Addison Cresswell

British stars including James Corden, Jack Whitehall and Piers Morgan have paid tribute to comedy agent/producer Addison Cresswell, who has died at the age of 53.

Cresswell passed away in his sleep at his home in England on Monday (23Dec13) but the reason for his death has not been officially announced.

A statement from his Off the Kerb management company reads, "(Creswell) passed away in his sleep at home. (He will be) fondly remembered as a devoted mentor, a dear friend and an unforgettable character. He will be sorely missed."

Taylor Swift says writing about her private life makes her "very vulnerable".
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker has begun recording songs for films and sees it as a different kind of "thrill" compared to the "intense" process of baring her own life on record.
She told Billboard magazine: "I think it's a bit of a relief to take the focus off of my own life.
"It can get pretty intense writing [personal] details - that's a very vulnerable place to put yourself in.
"But there's a specific type of thrill you get from that recounting of your life."

James Corden confirmed for his final Brit Awards stint

Funnyman James Corden has been confirmed as the host of the 2014 Brit Awards but insists it will be his final show.

The British star hosted the prizegiving three times - in 2009, 2011, and 2012 - and he has now signed on for a fourth and final stint.

He says, "I really love the Brits. I'm such a fan. I'll miss not doing it after this one but fully intend to enjoy every second of Brits 2014."

Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry will be among the acts performing at the big show, which will be staged at the O2 Arena in London on 19 February (14).

Country star Taylor Swift defied her music managers' advice not to contribute a new song to the One Chance movie soundtrack after falling in love with the real-life underdog story.

The film stars actor James Corden as cell phone salesman Paul Potts, who shot to fame as an opera singer after winning Simon Cowell's reality TV show Britain's Got Talent in 2007.

The Karma Chameleon hitmaker recently shed 56 pounds (25 kilograms) by adopting a healthy diet, and The History Boys star Corden was so impressed with Boy George's results, he reached out to him via Twitter.com to ask for advice.
