Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon is to star in her school's version of 'Grease'.
The 17-year-old fashion designer has landed the role of Betty Rizzo in the LaGuardia High School production of the iconic musical, which is set in a 1950s high school, New York Daily News column Confidenti@l is reporting.
The role was played by Stockard Channing in the 1973 movie - which starred John Travolta as Danny Zuko and Olivia Newton-John as his love interest Sandy Olsson.

The Los Angeles County Coroner has declared Grease star Jeff Conaway's death an accident after a four month investigation into the tragedy.

The actor died a day after he was taken off life support in May. He was 60.

Conaway was hospitalized at Encino Hospital Medical Center after he was found unconscious at his home in California.

The actor's spokesman Phil Brock revealed he was found with a cocktail of "painkillers and cold medicine in his system", and doctors went on to diagnose him with pneumonia and sepsis, a potentially fatal blood poisoning caused by a bacterial infection.

Victoria Spinoza filed papers at Los Angeles Superior Court last month applying for an injunction against her former partner. Jeff Conaway Badly Injured After Freak Fall
Grease star Jeff Conaway was admitted to a hospital on Monday, after suffering a brain hemorrhage in a freak fall. The 59 year old tumbled down the stairs of his California home and was taken to a Los Angeles medical facility by ambulance.

He suffered a broken hip, a broken arm, a fractured neck and a brain hemorrhage in the accident and is set to undergo surgery, girlfriend Vikki Lizzi tells TMZ.com. No further information was available as WENN went to press.

CSI star Gary Dourdan is joining the troubled stars on the second season of hard-hitting reality show "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew," according to reports.
