The Los Angeles Police Department has opened up a new investigation into "7th Heaven" actor Stephen Collins, who reportedly exposed himself to a minor 30 years ago.

The actor is already being investigated by the New York Police Department after he confessed to molesting young girls in an audio tape that was leaked from a 2012 therapy session.

LAPD captain Shaun Mathers has confirmed that both police departments are working together to examine allegations that Collins had sexual contact with at least two minors in NYC.

Producers of hit ABC drama "Scandal" have confirmed that they won't be airing any of actor Stephen Collins scenes in an upcoming episode of the show following the leak of an audio tape on which he's heard confessing to molesting at least three young girls over a decade ago.
