Tom Hanks
When Stephen Colbert needed some help for his "Stephen Ghoulbert’s Spooky Time Halloween Fun Guide" on The Colbert Report, he turned to Tom Hanks for some helpful tips on inexpensive costumes.

Hanks claimed he wasn't on the show to promote his new film, Cloud Atlas: "I'm here for the kids, with some great inexpensive costumes that will make for a great 'spooktacular' Halloween."

Despite that, the costumes he was presented sure looked familiar to Colbert. A cowboy was up first who said "There's a snake in my boot!" After Colbert claimed that was a line from Toy Story, Hanks said "Is it? Th...

However, the comedian still teased Morrissey about his "militant" vegetarianism, joking, "If I'm a little woozy right now it's because I haven't had my bacon."

It is the age of Wikipedia, and for comedians, this election will be one to remember. Until someone else changes it with the click of a mouse. Tuesday night on the Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert suggested that his audience choose Mitt Romney’s vice-presidential candidate.

Fox News said that because Sarah Palin’s Wikipedia page was edited 68 times the day before John McCain announced her as his running mate in 2008, we may be able to guess Romney...

The Colbert Report host commonly makes up words, but some researchers have turned his technique into a whole language. Stephen Colbert has been known to make up a word or two. Often this is to make fun of someone, but it seems that more than most, his words actually make it into the English language.

Colbert coined the term “truthiness” during his debut episode of The Colbert Report in 2005, and according to Dictionary.com, the word has been defined as “The quality of seeming to be true according to one's intuition, opinion or perception without regard to logic, factual evidence, or the li...

Stephen Colbert Hands Over PAC To Jon Stewart, Forms Presidential Exploratory Commitee

After teasing a big announcement Wednesday night, Stephen Colbert used his time on the Colbert Report to close a loophole that would have kept him from running for President.

Current rules dictate that a candidate cannot also be the head of a Political Action Committee, nor can he or she tell the committee how to spend its money. Thanks to Citizens United, PACs can take infinite amounts of donations from corporations because they are now considered "people "in the eyes of American law, so having a PAC supporting you means big cash as a candidate.

So, Colbert simply tra...
