Stephen Colbert, Public Access Host? Colbert Crashes Local Minne
Stephen Colbert made a surprise guest appearance in the last place anyone was expecting him- public access TV! According to Entertainment Weekly, Colbert popped into the Monroe Michigan public access show Only In Monroe, to act as the show's impromptu guest host.

Did anyone see this coming? No? Well, who cares, it was hysterical. Colbert played the whole thing perfectly straight, providing informative (and very funny) coverage of the local news around Monroe County and interviewing the show's usual hosts Michelle Bowman and Kaye Lani Rae Rafko Wilson ("I'm not sure how many people that is,...

The Late Show Will Be In Good Hands With Stephen Colbert

6/5/2015 6:30pm EDT
stephen colbert
It's been a while since the world has heard from Stephen Colbert. The comedian signed off his popular show, The Colbert Report on Comedy Central last December. The star had been tapped to replace David Letterman on The Late Show on CBS after Letterman's retirement.

Colbert had intentionally stayed out of the limelight while Letterman was doing his final few months of shows. But that didn't stop multiple photos from popping up of Colbert rocking a shockingly salt-and-pepper beard these last few months. Colbert jokingly took to calling it, "The Colbeard".

But with the Late Show with Stephen...

Stephen Colbert Ends 'The Colbert Report' With Epic Show Finale
After nine years and 1,447 episodes of "The Colbert Report," it all ended last night.

Stephen Colbert grabbed his Captain America shield, climbed into Santa’s sleigh next to Alex Trebek and Abraham Lincoln, and flew off into eternity.

For nearly a decade, Stephen Colbert kept audiences informed and entertained as the ringmaster of "The Colbert Report." The final episode touched on some running gags over the years such as his sponsorship of Olympic speed-skating and starting his own Super PAC (Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow).

The finale followed the show’s usual form. Colbert m...

President Barack Obama dropped in on "The Colbert Report" and took over the desk and the laughs from the talk show host.

"How hard can this be?" he asked. "I'm just going to say whatever you were about to say," he said after sitting in Colbert's anchor chair.

With him out of commission, the shield must be picked up by Sam Wilson, who is better known as The Falcon. Falcon was featured Captain America: The Winter Soldier and played by Anthony Mackie, but don't expect Anthony to play the hero any time soon.

Thanks to Citizens United, PACs can take infinite amounts of donations from corporations because they are now considered "people "in the eyes of American law, so having a PAC supporting you means big cash as a candidate.
