Justin Chatwin:'Dragonball: Evolution' Is All About The Hair

4/6/2009 10:23am EDT
Justin Chatwin
In Dragonball: Evolution, Justin Chatwin becomes the live action incarnate of the anime character Goku. As protector of the dragonballs, Goku uses martial arts to fight off bad guys. Chatwin trained and learned the moves and choreography. All that really mattered was getting the hair right.

"That was one of the first questions that I asked," Chatwin said. "What are we going to do with the hair? All these animes have crazy hair and I was like, am I going to be wearing a wig. Oh my God, this is going to be wacky. This is going to either be really interesting because it's the first anime ...

"Hellboy II: The Golden Army" (July 11)

This is a sequel to the first "Hellboy" and is based off an enormously well received series created by Dark Horse Comics. Hellboy is the greatest supernatural detective and blends many aspects of classical horror and magic with a uniquely dry sense of humor.

The first movie was moderately popular, and the DVD sales were positive enough that a sequel was given the green light. It will be directed again by Guillermo del Toro, and star Ron Perlman as Hellboy, Selma Blair as Liz, and Doug Jones as Abe Sapien.

"Hellboy" has always been a f...

New releases this week are The Polar Express and War of the Worlds. The Polar Express revolves around Billy, who longs to believe in Santa Claus but finds it quite difficult to do so because his family insists that all of it, from the North Pole, to the elves, to the man himself, is all just a myth.
