Leverage
Tonight, TNT's Leverage returns to finish out its fourth season - and stars Beth Riesgraf (Parker) and Timothy Hutton (Nate) joined me recently to talk about what's headed our way.

Leverage was one of TNT's early successes in scripted television, following The Closer and Saving Grace but predating the likes of Dark Blue, Hawthorne, Men of a Certain Age, Memphis Beat and Rizzoli & Isles. Led by Academy Award winner Hutton, the talented ensemble cast - which also includes Angel's Christian Kane, Coupling's Gina Bellman and Friday Night Lights' Aldis Hodge - has led us through four season...

January 1st, 2011 6:41pm EST
Rupert Everett
Rupert Everett has become the latest gay star to speak openly about the downside of coming out, revealing he was shunned by Hollywood after he declared he was a homosexual.

The My Best Friend's Wedding star, 51, admits he had to flee Hollywood after his big reveal two decades ago - because no one would hire him.

He tells the BBC, "I just never got a job there (in Hollywood), and I never got a job here (in Britain), after (coming out)... I never had another job here for 10 years, probably, and I moved to Europe."

His comments come just days after veteran Richard Chamberlain went public wi...

Richard Chamberlain: 'I Wouldn't Advise A Gay Leading Man-Type Actor To Come Out'

December 23rd, 2010 9:47am EST
Richard Chamberlain
In a recent conversation with The Advocate’s Brandon Voss, "Brothers & Sisters" special guest star Richard Chamberlain clears up recent breakup rumors about his longtime relationship and advises other gay actors to stay safely in the closet.

On Whether He Thinks Actors Should Come Out:

Advocate: You were a wildly successful closeted actor during a period of time when coming out was unheard of, but the climate of acceptance has significantly changed in recent years. How do you feel about gay actors who still remain closeted as we near 2011?

Richard Chamberlain: It’s complicated. There’s s...

Buffy The Vampire Slayer's brutal 2001 sex scene has topped a new poll of TV passion. The saucy segment, in which Sarah Michelle Gellar and James Marsters fight before making out, beat Evangeline Lilly and Josh Holloway's 2006 sex session on Lost to top the TV Guide "Hottest Scenes Ever."

Also included in the top 10 are Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd's love-in on a 1987 episode of Moonlighting and Richard Chamberlain and Rachel Ward's beach sex in beloved 1983 romance epic The Thorn Birds.

Richard Chamberlain Doesn't Regret Keeping His Sexuality A Secret

June 6th, 2007 9:28am EDT
Richard Chamberlain
Veteran actor Richard Chamberlain has no regrets about keeping his homosexuality a secret, because he is certain he would never have had a Hollywood career had he been openly gay.

The star, 73, eventually revealed his sexuality in 2003 and is under no illusions that 'coming out' in the 1960s would have stopped his acting career dead in its tracks.

He says, "If I'd gone public in the beginning, I would have been finished. It was the big, painful secret of my life and I couldn't talk about it when I was playing leading men."

Despite keeping his sexuality a secret, studio bos...
