Ryan Carnes Biography
American actor Ryan Carnes was born on December 6, 1982, in Pittsfield, Ill. Ryan went to Duke University for two years, where he played in the marching band. Ryan is best known for his gay characters: Lucas Jones in the soap opera "General Hospital," Justin on the nighttime drama "Desperate Housewives," and Marc Everhard in the movie "Eating Out." Despite these roles, Ryan has stated in interviews that he is straight. He also had small parts on the TV shows "The Closer" and "CSI: NY" and in the made-for-television movies "Thicker Than Water" and "Grand Union," as well as major roles in the motion pictures "Anderson's Cross" and "Surf School." When he's not acting, Ryan is an accomplished drummer, and he also writes lyrics for up-and-coming musicians.
