Actor/former fashion model Chris Carmack was born December 22, 1980, in Washington, DC, and was raised in Rockville, Maryland. Chris went to Marauder High School in Rockville and he attended New York University's Tisch School for the Performing Arts but left after his sophomore year. He began modeling after college by working in New York for "Lord and Taylor," "Target," "Nautica," and "Guess," and he has also worked for legendary photographer Bruce Weber. Two years later he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He made his television debut guest starring on an episode of the Comedy Channel's "Strangers With Candy." This led to his first feature film roles as Todd in the cheerleading movie "Bring It On Again" and as Jason Masters in the Amada Bynes romantic comedy film "Lovewrecked." He's made TV appearances on the shows "Jake In Progress," "Smallville," and "Related;" however, Chris is best know for his role as Luke Ward in the Fox series "The O.C."
