What Are The Actors Of 'Movie 43' Saying About It?

January 25th, 2013 10:45am EST
Movie 43
Well, actually, the actors aren't saying anything. As the NY Post puts it: "None of the stars has promoted the film on talk shows or in magazines—which only generates more curiosity about what may the weirdest theatrical release ever."

So what is Movie 43? Simply, it was thought to be the most ambitious comedy title of this year. It is set to either sink like a rock or swim like Michael Phelps. Unfortunately, it looks like there's a trend towards the former, which is truly a shame because "Movie 43" stems from the same genius that brought us "Dumb and Dumber" and "Me, Myself and Irene."

October 3rd, 2012 6:09pm EDT
Movie 43
If you ask us, if Movie 43 is just half as funny as the trailer, it's destined to be a classic. We have no idea what it's about, other than it's actually 25 short films helmed by several different directors including Peter Farrelly, Elizabeth Banks, Bob Odenkirk, Brett Ratner and Griffin Dunne, and it features a huge, HUGE cast of A-list stars.

The film's greenband trailer (e.g.: approved-for-all-audiences) premiered during Tuesday night's episode of Tosh.0 on Comedy Central; and on Wednesday the very not-safe-for-work (NSFW) red-band trailer debuted on the network's website (according to...

Winn Winn
'Win Win' directed and written by Tom McCarthy (The Visitor and The Station Agent) explores the depths and nuances of human relationships. It shows us how under certain circumstances, even the most unlikely characters can come together and form a bond that is life changing.

Attorney Mike Flaherty (Paul Giamatti) is your typical Everyman. He has a loving wife Jackie ( brilliant Amy Ryan) and two small kids who adore him. The only thing Mike loves almost as much as his family is...'Wrestling'. Too bad the high school wrestling team Mike coaches along with his law partner, Stephen (Jeffr...

What To Watch In March? Spotlight On Mid-Season Shows

March 4th, 2009 9:37am EST
Cupid
Once upon a time in a magical land called Hollywood, harried and somewhat unkempt writers bit their nails down to the quick awaiting news on if their pilots would receive full season orders, be given solid "Nos," or worse: be relegated to the limbo that is "mid-season replacement" territory.

Such shows aren't guaranteed to air at all, particularly if the initial fall line-up (the shows that network executives felt had the most potential) succeeds. And if mid-season shows do get a shot after premature cancellations, there is no guarantee they will find an audience, considering so many ...

April 9th, 2008 2:00pm EDT
Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku
The time and financial constraints of the writers' strike are being felt this TV pilot season. The broadcast networks are developing half the number of pilots they usually do, ordering presentations in lieu of pilots for some and giving others the straight to series order.

Aside from NBC, which announced its schedule ahead of the pack last week, the networks have kept their plans for fall shrouded in mystery. We'll learn more during the networks' May upfronts.
