Dean Cain 'Saddened But Not Surprised' By Ex-Fiancee Mindy McCready's Death
Mindy McCready's ex-fiance Dean Cain has broken his silence about the country star's death on Sunday, revealing her suicide did not surprise him.
The former TV Superman was engaged to McCready from 1997 to 1998 and tells news show Access Hollywood they didn't wed because she caused too much drama.
Following their break-up, the singer battled substance abuse and legal issues and appeared on reality TV show Celebrity Rehab in a desperate bid to turn her life around. She also spent time behind bars for a probation violation and gave birth to two sons, Zander, six, and 10-month-old Zayne.

TV Spotlight: 'Brothers & Sisters' Producer Greg Berlanti
Dick Wolf, David E. Kelley, Shonda Rhimes and Joss Whedon have all done it. You may be wondering what IT is exactly. They've all at some time point created a spin-off or expanded their TV show into a franchise (see Law & Order). They've all done crossovers between their shows, if you count the backdoor Private Practice pilot on Grey's Anatomy last season.
But those crossovers would not have been possible if they didn't all share one common trait: all of them are showrunners who have, in recent memory, shepherded multiple television shows, sometimes across different channels.
