Legendary actor Gary Busey is a grandfather - his son Jake and fiancée April Hutchinson became parents on Monday.

The Starship Troopers star has named his baby girl Autumn Rosalia.

The tot was born in Santa Monica, California and Busey tells Life & Style magazine, "She's completely healthy and arrived right on schedule... She's a brunette, just like her mom."

Busey and his bride-to-be discovered they were set to become parents two weeks after he proposed.

He adds, "This has been a wonderful surprise for us, and we couldn't be happier."

Jake, the son of actor and reality TV star Gary Busey, and his girlfriend of 10 months, April Hutchinson, are set to become first-time parents next month.

The 41 year old's representative tells Life & Style magazine, "They're just thrilled they're going to have a baby. They're so happy. The baby is due at the end of July."

The 39 year old is seeking professional help after he was recently hospitalized with alcohol poisoning.

The Starship Troopers actor hopes the stint in rehab will help him get on the "straight path" in life.

He tells TMZ.com, "After getting out of the hospital - I got a little alcohol poisoning, a little too much fun - I'm on the straight path now, I'm going clean living. (I had) a little too much beer. That's the big plan - I'll be checking into rehab in the next week."

Actor Gary Busey has become a father again at 65. The "Lethal Weapon" star and his girlfriend Steffanie Sampson, 40, welcomed a baby boy named Luke Samson Busey on Tuesday morning.

Confirming the news in a statement to news show "Entertainment Tonight", the happy couple says, "This feels like a dream. We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed with happiness at Luke's arrival."

The new arrival is Busey's third child - he is dad to actor son Jake and daughter Alectra, from previous relationships.

A spokesperson for Gary Busey has confirmed reports the actor is set to become a father again at 65.

The Gingerdead Man star and his girlfriend Steffanie Sampson will welcome a baby boy they plan to call Luke in the New Year, according to Busey's agent and attorney Vicki Roberts.

She tells People.com, "He feels awesome about it; he's excited and thrilled and can't wait." Sampson is seven months pregnant.

The new arrival will be Busey's third child - he has an actor son Jake and daughter Alectra, from previous relationships.
