15 Celebrities Who've Had Near-Death Experiences (NDEs)

15 Celebrities Who've Had Near-Death Experiences (NDEs)
Many celebrities have come close to death, whether through car crashes (Tracy Morgan), surfing accidents (Gerard Butler) or drug overdoses (Eminem), but only a handful have had what can be described as near-death experiences (NDEs). These are people who have died, seen something on the other side, and have come back to life.

In 2001, actress Sharon Stone ("Basic Instinct," "Total Recall," "Casino") had a brain aneurysm that nearly killed her. She described the incident to Katie Couric, saying she felt like she had been shot in the head. The impact was so great, she fell over the sofa.

Gary Busey Screams At Inanimate Objects In New Amazon Ad

Gary Busey Screams At Inanimate Objects In New Amazon Ad
Yep. Gary Busey has officially lost it. We're not sure if Amazon approached him knowing he was nuts, or if they were just surprised and thrilled after they found out he is actually clinically insane, but the new Amazon Fire TV certainly plays it up.

The ad opens up with "If you're like me - you like talking to things. Like...'Hello Lamp.'" So that should explain pretty much any questions you have about that.

And of course, Gary can't play any role without screaming at something - so that's in there too. Anyhow, check out the advertisement which, admittedly is pretty funny.

'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice': And Your Little Mechanical Dog Too!

4/29/2013 3:16pm EDT
All-Star Celebrity Apprentice
Last week, Gary Busey got on Lisa Rinna’s last nerve, with his inability to focus or be a part of their tiny team. But Penn Jillette still managed to pull off a successful task, winning for Plan B. Team Power’s Brande Roderick took the fall for the loss, and was fired.

After last week’s Board Room, Lil Jon is the last original member of Power, and he feels like the proverbial “black guy in a horror movie.” With only six players remaining, Plan B is still not playing on a level field; Gary is their weakest link.

'Celebrity Apprentice' Recap 'Raising The Steaks' Yummm!

4/18/2011 11:30am EDT
Meat Loaf The Celebrity Apprentice
Keeping a team member in play when no one else wants to work with them will damage your overall energy. At Team Backbone this week, John Rich, Lil John, and Meat Loaf were working against a total, soul-sucking, energy hole. The fact that they could even raise their heads enough to try to bring the challenge in was a tribute to each of their commitments to their charities.

Continuing from last week’s firing of Mark McGrath, Backbone was visibly stunned to see Gary Busey walk through the door. Meat Loaf and Lil Jon were clearly unhappy, while John Rich went to a safe place in his mind, decid...

'Celebrity Apprentice's' NeNe Is 'A Big Bully' - April 10 Recap

4/11/2011 11:55am EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
This week: Pirates me Maties! Hope doesn’t show her biggest assets, and paranoia runs deep for LaToya. Oh yeah, and Busey’s STILL here.

Week 5 and I am now having recurring nightmares of Donald Trump’s weird lip movements. Last week, the teams made ‘art’, and sold it for record amounts. Meat Loaf spectacularly lost his temper on Gary Busey for no real reason, and Richard Hatch got the boot, despite the entire team wanting Busey gone. We can only go up from here, right?

Five celebrities now remain per team. LaToya Jackson, realizing that her team think her ineffective and weak, is determin...

The Celebrity Apprentice
In which I learn very little about video phones, Jose Canseco ‘feels pretty’, and Dionne Warwick learns that The Boss cannot be faked out, no matter how much you need your beauty sleep.

This week’s episode began with several of the Backbone (Men’s) team admitting to Gary Busey and each other that their previous week’s win was due to the group effort, and that they needed to present a strong, united front to the A.S.A.P. (Women’s) team, in order to keep winning. Busey tearfully presented two $20,000 checks to a representative of his charity, The Centre for Head Injury Services, explaining...
